The guys were out patrolling, Splinter was away on some centering one's self or something. Donnie had stayed behind to work on mutagen, again. April walked towards his lab. She was getting a little anxious this would be the first time they would be alone since their first kiss.

She pushed the door open and leaned against it, trying to act cool. "So, working on the mutagen, huh?" Donnie nodded, but didn't say anything. It would not surprise April one bit if he had't even heard what she said. Donnie and Mikey when they got involved insomething, they wouldn't know anybody was there. she walked towards him, shutting the door before. She let her eyes graze across Donnie's tall form, hunched over some papers he was intently writinng on. His muscles were tense and defined. His neck was open and vulnerable. His bo staff was leaning against his desk.

Now she understood pulling a sneak attack on a ninja turtle when he thinks he is the only one there. not the brightest move. She kissed his neck, he swung around with his bo staff, and... Boom! April flew through the air slamming hard into Donnie"s headboard above his bed. He was in fighting stance until he realized who it was. "Oh gosh! I'm so sor..." April put her hand up stopping him.

"It was my fault. I wasn't thinking ninja turtle." April gestured with her hands to those two words. She looked up at him and giggled. She slid to the edge of the bed and let her legs hang off the ed of it. Her feet dangled about a foot or so above the floor, since Donnie's bed was three mattresses thick. She could see it in Donnie's eyes, he was still unsure whether or not he had hurt her. His dark brown eyes were getting darker with worry.

She gave him an up lifting smile and patted the spot next to her. His eyes went wide, but he sat down with about a gap between them. She groaned and hopped over so she was right next to him. She leaned her head on his shoulder, "What were you working on?" She glanced towards his desk. He rubbed remember the back of his neck.

"Honestly, I don't remember." That made her giggle.

"Well, sorry I distracted you." She started to leave, but a strong arm wrapped around her and pulled her back to him.

"No, I needed to be distracted. I started to twirl down a rabbit-hole."

"So what your saying is you need a distraction?" April smiled and quirked her eyebrow. She kept eye contact with him.

"Yeah, definitely." He wasn't sure what she was getting at.

She leaned towards him bringing her lips to his. Just like the first time, his lips were soft despite the way they looked. She started to pull back and look at him, but his arms had wrapped around her waist pulling her towards him. Their lips connects again this time they started moving together. As if it was a dance that couldn't be choreographed. He gently picked her up and re-positioned her on his bed. She leaned back which caught him off guard. When he opened his eyes, she was laying down on the bed. She smiled and motioned for him to come over. He pulled himself so he was looking down at April, her hair askew going this was and that. He hadn't realized until that moment she wasn't wearing her hair in a ponytail. He slid his hand into her hair and pulled himself closer to her. He didn't kiss her lips, but started with her neck. He traced a line from her collarbone up to behind her ear to across her cheek to her nose and then finishing with his lips on hers. They stayed like that kissing. He slid his hand into hers. She felt complete like this.

April growled in frustration as she could hear the commotion growing on the other side of Donnie's door. They separated and were standing when Mikey burst in without knocking.

"Hey, I'm gonna make some pizza, want some? Oh hey, April!" Donnie smirked at April.

"Yeah, sounds great." Donnie and April followed Mikey out of the lab.
