"You're going, huh?" he nodded. I looked up at him.
"Yeah, I can't stay here forever." I whispered with a small smile. "Besides, I need to find Terra and Aqua." A thin smile.
"Do you think we're going to see each other again?" he asked, nodding slightly.
I shrugged, staring into the deep sunset.
"I dunno, but I hope we do…" I sighed softly. I looked at the sky. It was a peaceful setting, the sky stained a orange brown, yellow radiating off the sun. I could see the water spray from the fountains. People with their children smiling going back to their homes. The gray brick street tainted yellow and the buildings casting great shadows. The castle standing tall with the various decors hanging heavily from it. The wind was a calm breeze. Flowers waving in the wind, petal flying off becoming a dance.
We were sitting on a clock tower, painted white and gold, one big bell right above the clock. Chiming.
"If we do…" He said suddenly. I looked up. His red, spiked hair was tinted orange from the sunset. Pale cheeks seemed to be smiling at me along with his acid eyes.
He looked at me, a sweet sorrow. "Let's watch the sunset again… and I might get to meet those other friends of yours…" he chuckled. I smiled back. I looked out at the bright sky, clouds, all shapes and sizes were rolling in, colors of the sunset as they came for us. A painted picture.
"Yeah." I looked down, slight sorrow itching me
…'if'.
"No, we'll meet again, even if it's not truly me… we'll meet. Watch the sun set, and laugh."
I stood, "Okay," I nodded. My hair looked dirty blond from the horizon.
"We'll meet again." I said reaching my hand out. "Promise." He smirked.
"Promise…Ven." He grasped my hand.
"I'll be seeing you Lea." We smiled at each other.
"Promise!"
