And Then it stopped
by Serenity S. Moon

The voices,
Everywhere,
The voices,
They are telling me to do things,
Bad, very bad things.
They tell me
you do not love me,
They tell me
you sleep around,
The voices are everywhere,
telling me my friends aren't my true friends,
that they use me for my power.
I'm alone,
the voices keep it that way.
They are screaming now,
they scare me,
to the point where you can not even help me.
They say you are not my prince.
That I have no prince.
They tell me that I am nobody,
Who wants to help a nobody.
Over and Over and Over,
they say these things to me.
The cold steel touches me,
back and forth,
slowly,
lightly,
now faster,
now harder.
The voices cheer me on.
I please them.
I have never pleased them.
They scream,
they cheer,
and then,
it stopped.
