Klaus' POV I was with my beautiful seven years old daughter on the balcony watching the parade. She was full of joy and her wide eyes were sparkling ,something that made me the most happy man on the whole world. After a thousand years I had almost everything I could possibly ask for. My brother Elijah was by my side and happier than ever with a woman he loved and I had nothing to concern about. Rebekah was here too, Marcel by her side. Hayley was in her real form for almost four years now and we have found a way to get along, Jackson is just a bad memory and she isn't trying to take Hope away from me any more...we trusted its other now. But the most important part of my current life was Hope. She loves me, trust me, admire me. Every time she calls me "daddy" I when my daughter isn't around I know something is missing, a piece of me. I tried to forget about her, but I can't. My Queen is living her life exactly as she planted it when she made me promise to never come back. All I have to do now is to wait for her to show up in my door and make me whole again.

I was doing it again, didn't I? I let myself imagine that she is here, at this very moment holding Hopes hand and both of them are smiling at me. All that until an angelic voice brought me back to reality.

"Can we go daddy? " Hope said looking at me with wide eyes and puling me from my sleeve, making me look at her.

"Where do you want as to go princes?"

"Do you hear me at all?"

"Tell me again sweetheart..."

She smirked but after a while she spoke again "I said we are going to go at the bar...You are going to take me out tonight " a smile on her face while she talk more like a grown up than a kid. She was to smart for her age and everyone knew it.

"Little girls aren't aloud to go there princes, you know that"

"I know but I am not a little girl anymore "

I rolled my eyes and smirked "You are not old enough Hope"

"But daddy..." she said winningly ".. Marcel is sing tonight and you like that place too..."

"I can go an other time..and it's not that good anyway"

"It is...every time mommy and uncle Elijah go there they tell me they had great time..stop making excuses... If you don't want to go with me you can just tell me"

"I do sweetheart, of course I do but..."

"No are going...end of the story " a wide smile light up her face.

I couldn't say no to her "Oh ok ok...we are going but not for long"

"Yeah! " she said cheerfully and in a flash she was behind the door ready to go.

In a few minutes we were at the bar down the street and my daughter was right. Not only it was a great place to hang out but also it was like an upgraded version of the Grill me and everyone used to go at Mystic Falls. I told Hope that it might not be so good there but I love this place actually . Almost every corner was reminding me a memory of me with my woman. We went at the barman and before I could make a sound Hope was already ordering.

"A whiskey on the rocks and..."

"And an orange juice .." I completed her sentence

"That on the rocks too " ..she continued with a smirk on her face

I smiled at her lightly and as we waited for our drinks I accidentally had an other "memory". The way we were sitting...Kol was sitting next to him at the Grill in this position when she walked in with her blonde curls wandering around her shoulders. That judge smirk and all the irony in her voice when she was trying to mock him.. Oh god, I missed that too.

Caroline' POV

Seven seven years since...the time we spent in the woods and here I am. Bonnie is still alive so the Salvatore' are still wondering around Elena trying to find a different way to bring her back. Others didn't knew it but Stefan had admitted to me that the thought of killing Bonnie had past his mind and Damon was the one that didn't let anyone to harm her even if it was for Elena. Matt and Tyler had gone away and Alaric is still straggling. So I stopped trying after some years and start traveling but there was no interest for me out there. Deep down I knew who would give meaning to my journey. The one who promised me to show what world has to offer. Klaus...

So here I am, outside of a Bar in New Orleans looking for him. It's not right but it is what I want. I will go in there and I will tell him my speech. Yeah you heard right, I have a speech ready and I won't let him talk until I am finished. He will hear me without interfering, without mocking or telling me that he changed his mind after all these years. I will tell him what I want as I should have done seven years ago and if he is still the man I secretly loved he will do what he promised and he will be my last love. He will be still in love with me.

Here we go.. I walk in and here he is, as the witch said. He is as handsome and hot as I remembered and he is looking at me. As soon as I got in his eyes got fixed on me but he looks surprised, like he couldn't believe I am here. I took a deep breath and I approached him. We stared in its others eyes for a minute without any of us doing a move and the world around us had disappeared.

"Klaus..." I started after a while but I stopped.

"Caroline is that really you?" He said still YES of course its me! Who else would it be? I would have actually said that if his phone hadn't break the silence.

In my surprise a little girl peaked it up at took it away before start talking. Who is she and how I didn't I noticed her before? As soon as she was gone I looked back at Klaus and I started babbling. Ok I know I had a speech but right know I can't stop it.

"What happened Klaus? Adults can't stand you any more and you started going out with eight years olds?" He rolled his eyes and smirked but he stays silence so I continued. " OMG did you kidnapped her?"

"No love, I didn't and..." He looked like he had more to say but I didn't let him. Calling me love was unacceptable. NO I will not be charmed by his sweet talking again. For now at least.

"Seriously? So what? You what to make me believe that a parent trusted you to go out with his kid IN A BAR?"

"Actually, love, she is seven years old and she is my daughter. Hope"

"Seven? Even worse...Wait.. Your WHAT?" I said staring at him. Did he say his DAUGHTER? No I can't have heard correctly

"My daughter Caroline"

"What are you talking about? How? She can't be. You are a vampire remember?" I said still soaked.

"He is a Hybrid remember? And I am the miracle baby. Due to his werewolf side he can have children" The girl said and she was back on her sit looking at looks smart like Klaus and now that I am looking at her...she has Klaus' beautiful eyes and blonde curls. She could be his daughter , but she couldn't. If that makes any sense at all.

"With who?" I couldn't stop myself.

"Hayley Marshall" What? That bitch again? First Tyler and now Klaus? No that can't be happening

"But don't worry .." she continued "..mommy is marrying uncle Elijah next week. Maybe you could came too."WOW what just happened? And what could I say? There was a long silence and thank god he finally said something.

" Do you want a drink love?"

"Seriously Klaus? Right now, I prefer to die from thirst. But thanks"

He smiled "That reminds me old times ... But come on now, a whiskey? A martini? "

"One tequila shot and only" What? Don't judge me.. I really REALLY need a drink now so ...

He ordered and after a will we start drinking . Tequila shot me and him and the little girl juice shots . She is his daughter? Apparently she is, so drinking after learning that the man I came to "claim" has a child only makes me want to drink more so..there is no way to stay in that one shot with him being around ..or without him.

Klaus' POV

An hour had past and Caroline is still in soak. As for me... SHE IS HERE finally she came! Maybe I was waiting for her so long but I was right. The problem is even though I was waiting for her arrival I never came up with a plan about how I should I tell her that I have a daughter. Now not only she knows about her but she saw her and we didn't even have that chance to talk before. Why she came though? How can I learn exactly the reason now?

We are still doing shots and Hope is silent. What is see thinking? She know me and Hayley aren't together and love other people and she never had a problem with that but with Caroline here... With a stranger drinking and be ready to explode...

"So now you are a daddy and have a home..no no actually you have a town all yours but..where is the real Klaus? Where is the big bad hybrid that was spreading terror in all Mystic Falls? hmm.." Caroline said after another shot and she is obviously wasted.

"You are drunk love, lets talk about it tomorrow"

She laughed "Why? Are you afraid Hayley' daughter will have bad thoughts about her daddy? Don't worry if she is like her..."

"That's enough...I like you Caroline but if you say anything about my daughter..." I said with yellow hybrid eyes.

"There he is" she said smiling lightly and she got up to came near me but she almost fell on the floor can't stand a lot of alcohol as we can she.

I couched her, thankfully ,in time and look at Hope. "I have to take her at her hotel. Rebekah will be home probably. So she will stay with you, ok?"

"Why don't you take her home with us daddy?"

I look at her for a while before I answer "She doesn't stay with us princes" after that I look at Caroline who was half conscious now "Where is your hotel love?"

"I don't know.." she murmured and was ready to fall asleep

"See daddy..Now we have to take her with us...You know you want to"

"Hope..."

"Don't lie to me dad"

I rolled my eyes but I answered after a while "Are you ok with that Hope?"

"If she is the Caroline you talk about in your dreams then I am more than ok."

"How..? I am not " I said with my eyes wide open

" I have ears daddy, I can hear you , you know" she said proud and with a smirk on her face.

I smiled at her ironically. "ok ok take my car keys and go open the door "

Hope smiled and did so while I took Caroline in my arms and get her into the car seat next to mine. While I was driving I couldn't stop looking at her. When we arrived I put Hope in bed and then returned to her. Carrying her around and getting her in a room without anyone noticing was a small challenge. I put her on the bed and pulled a blanket over her and just as I was ready to leave I heard my name and turn over to look at her.

"Klaus...please don't leave me alone" For the first time I heard her weak, begging me to stay by her side. I couldn't say no to her. Not when she was like that anyway, so I laid down beside her.

"Thank you.."She looked in my eyes and leaned to kiss me but I stopped her. The question was very obvious on her face.

"Not now sweetheart.. When I kiss you,you will have admit to me that you want ME, first" She was ready to answer but instead she put her face on my chest and a hand around me. I hugged her and she fell asleep again almost immediately She was so sweet.. I stayed up almost all night and it was like heaven. I am complete again.
