A/N: This is one of those entirely-made-up-of-dialogue fics. Conversation between Eponine/Marius. Eponine speaks first.

Don't

"Don't go."

"God, Eponine, you know I have to."

"Please, Marius – don't."

"You don't know what it means to us. To the students – to France. You don't."

"I know what it means to me."

"But - "

"And to her."

" – To Cosette?"

"Yes."

"I love her."

"I know. Do you think I don't know?"

"…I don't know."

"What don't you know?"

"I don't know if I should go to the barricade…oh, Eponine, I don't know!"

"You don't have to, Marius, you don't!"

"But – I do."

"No!"

"It's true. I have to go."

"Think of Cosette – think of me!"

"I am thinking of you – I'm thinking of everyone."

"Of everyone?"

"Of the future."

"The future?"

"What kind of future can I have if I don't go?"

"A future – with – me – Marius, please. Please."

"There's no way."

"There has to be."

"There can't be. There can never be."

"You must go?"

"Yes."

"Marius…"

"Eponine?"

"I wish you weren't going."

"I have to."

"Marius – Marius –?"

"Yes?"

"I'll be with you."

"I'm glad."

"Adieu, Monsieur Marius."

"Adieu, Eponine."

"And Marius – "

" – What?"

"I think I might love you."
