Heya! I know Things I'll Never Say was written about two years ago... but I wanted a follow up... When Rascal Flatts wrote Take Me There... I finally had something to work with. So with out further ado... your sequel for Things I'll Never Say...

There's a place in your heart, nobody's been,
Take me there.

He was in love with the light cherry colored cat. He held her close and let her hands play idly with his black tipped ears.

Things nobody knows,
Not even your friends,
Take me there.

"I grew up as an orphan..." She whispered through her gap, into his ear. "... I never really got to know my parents, or even if I had any brothers or sisters..."

Tell me bout your momma, your daddy, your hometown,
Show me around,
I want see it all, don't leave anything out

"That's pretty much how my life was before I met you..."

I want to know, everything about you.
And I want to go, down every road you've been.

"Please, Arlene... that can't be all..." Garfield pleaded poutingly. "I've known you for years... but I really don't know you..."

Where your hopes and dreams, and wishes live,
Where you keep the rest of your life hid,
I want to know the girl behind that pretty stare,

The pink cat giggled playfully before resting her head lightly on his shoulder. She gazed at him absently, before continuing.

Take me there.

"Well... before I met you... there was another cat I had a crush on... but we were too young. He showed me how to make a living on the streets. Y'know... like how to find the best food, that a box is so much better then sleeping in an old empty trashcan..."

Your first real kiss, your first true love,
You were scared.
Show me where,
You learned about life, spent your summer nights, without a care.

"Where was this place?" Garfield asked, imensely interested. He had never really tried to learn about Arlene's life before him.

I want to roll down main street, the back roads,
Like you did when you were a kid,
What made you who you are,
Tell me what your story is.

"Actually... It's not too far from here..."

I want to know, everything about you.
And I want to go, down every road you've been.

"Think you could show me?"

Where your hopes and dreams, and wishes live,
Where you keep the rest of your life hid,
I want to know the girl behind that pretty stare

She laughed softly. "...Someday, maybe..."

"How about next week?" He asked eagerly

"We'll see..."

"Cool..."

Take me there.

A moment of silence.

"...Arlene?"

"Yeah?"

I want to know, everything about you.
Yeah, everything about you baby.
I want to go, down every road you've been.

He paused for a moment, unsure of what to really say now.

Where your hopes and dreams and wishes live,
Where you keep the rest of Your life hid,
I want to know the girl behind that pretty stare.

Arlene suddenly grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled him close to her, and gently planted her lips onto his. He was at first shocked, but soon melted to its sweet taste. He wrapped his arms around her, and for the next few minutes, the two of them were lost in each others' worlds. When it was over, they pulled away only a little, and stared deeply into each others' eyes.

Take me, take me, take me there.
Take me there.

Take me, take me, baby, take me there.
Take me, take me, baby, take me there.

"That was my first real kiss..."

Garfield blushed. It was his too...

It was a lot shorter than the first... but I finally wrote it. Please Read and Review...
