Harry stared at the Prophet with wide eyes.

"No! No. No. No. No. Hell no." Harry said.

Ron looked over at his best mate with confused eyes, "What's going on, Harry?"

Harry shoved the Prophet over to him, letting Ron curse and threaten whoever made the new law.

All half-bloods were required, by law, to marry a pure-blood, and all muggleborns were required to marry a half-blood with little standing. AKA, no old blood.

Hermione swore when she slid into her seat, "Harry. Do you know who your spouse is yet?"

"No. Who?" Harry answered, looking at his best friend with wide eyes.

"Lucius Malfoy. He bid on you. Like a slave! This is worse than anything we could have ever come up with!" She exclaimed, "It's barbaric! I'm lucky that Seamus and Dean are half-bloods. I don't think that we could have done anything if they weren't. It's good that Luna's a pureblood too, for Ron. I wish you had someone." She sighed.

Harry was frozen on 'Lucius Malfoy. Like a slave.' "Oh god. Can we do anything? Something? I can't marry Malfoy. I can't!" He said, hystericlly.

Snape glided over to them, "Harry? Are you ok? I heard about the laws." He said.

Harry latched onto 'his Sev's' waist, "I'll do anything. Just don't make me bond with Malfoy."

Severus sighed, rubbing Harry's back, "Lucius is a good man, he cares for his family above everything else. You'll carry an heir or two, and you'll live in comfort. I cannot offer that, and it is against the law now. I will make sure that you're cared for, though. I promise, Harry." Severus swore to Harry.

Harry whimpered, clinging onto the older man, "Promise?"

"I promise that you will live in comfort Harry, and if you don't, I will kill Lucius and force Charlie to bond with you."

Harry took a deep breath, ignoring the shocked eyes/faces of the entire hall. "He'll take care of me. Marvolo has the peace treaty, correct?"

"Yes, mi hijo de corazón."

"Alright then, mi papá de corazón." Harry responded, leaning his head on Severus' side.

So, translations, mi hijo de corazón means my son of heart, and mi papá de corazón means my dad of heart.

I'll continue if I get reviews. :)
