I Dreamed a Dream from Les Mis based to The Reichenbach Fall.

Hi guys! So this stemmed from a challenge on Tumblr to rewrite the song I Dreamed A Dream from Les Mis based off of a fandom. So this is from Johns POV after the Reichenbach Fall. Here it goes!

I dreamed a dream the night you died

That you had lied and you were living

I dreamed that you just couldn't die

I dreamed that you were just deceiving

After some time [I] went to your grave

I wept and begged, argued, and waited

Prayed you'd be there when I turned away

When you weren't there, I had to face it

Now the nightmares come at night

With their visions of you plunging

And they tear my soul apart

For I know I bear the blame

I should have known what you would do

That you would do your best to save us

I would have stopped you if I knew

Why did I have to be so blind

And still I dream you'll come to me

That we will live the years together

But there are dreams that cannot be

And there are storms I cannot weather

I had a dream our lives would be

So different from this hell I'm living

So different now from what it seemed

Your fall has killed the dream I dreamed.
