*I just want to get into what DC-MA will be. First of all, it's inspired by Marvel's MAX imprint. So it'll be dark and mature takes on DC Characters. The name is also a play on TV-MA. Anyone is welcome to do DC-MA stuff b/c like MAX the stories won't be connected to one another. Freedom for all.*
Oak Forest 6:12AM. Outside of Star City.
There was nothing Oliver wanted more than going home and jumping in the shower. But something told him to drive further into the forest after spotting a few footprints that seemed to belong to a person rather than an animal.
"Probably teenagers doing good knows what back here." Oliver whispered to himself, letting out a soft sigh as he got out of the car and threw his green quiver around his shoulder with a few arrows inside. Then he grabbed his bow, wanting to be prepared for anything.
The flashlight located on the quiver's strap switched on automatically and quickly illuminated the area. A bloody handprint could be seen on the tree in front of him. "Definitely not good."
The blood dripped down the bark, indicating that whoever was here must have arrived not that long ago. He kept walking. Then he frozed. When he looked down on the ground, there was a silver charm bracelet. The center of it read 'Mia' written in yellow.
"H-h-help." A low and raspy voice can be heard straight ahead, followed by a cough.
Oliver quickly looked up and sprinted as he listened carefully to the coughs. "Hang tight. I'm coming!" It was his only way of locating the person. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw a teenager who looked no more than fifteen lying on the ground with a busted lip, struggling to keep her eyes opened.
She chuckled lightly. "You came." Her smiled quickly faded away when she lost consciousness.
Oliver scooped her up in his arms and headed to the car. After placing the girl in the back seat of his ride and putting a blanket over, he quickly hopped in the car and sped off. A few minutes later, dimmed headlights turned on and revealed a black muscle car with tinted windows and no license plate. The car followed behind him.
