I thought of this story because we had to do the stupid baby egg thing for our home EC class and it inspired me to do this! Weird huh? Anyway I hope you'll like it! It kinda short but really sweet! O and you wont know whom Inuyasha choose until the end, but you will probably be able to guess.

NEW LIFE

When you're little, you are not able to sometimes understand what's happening around and to you. Inuyasha wasn't little any longer. He was a full-grown half demon. He fought other demons that threatened him everyday. Right now, though, he was as helpless as the newborn pup that was struggling to come into the world.

"Come on Koshi! You can do it." It tore at him to see her skin pale and full of sweat. But the hand that griped his enough told him that she was doing just fine.

"I am doing it you idiot! Why don't you try to push out a kid?" He was a little taken back by this even though her mother had told him before hand what he should expect from her daughter when she was in labor.

"You can yell at me all you want if it will make you feel better." The small smile that she gave him was enough to calm the nerves that fluttered through his stomach at the thought at what was happening. Then her face turned red with effort as Kaede told her to push just one more time. A cry that echoed through the air made everyone hold their breath in wonder. "Congratulations. You have a baby boy." Kaede face held a tender smile as she placed the wiggling bundle into his mothers waiting arms.

Inuyasha looked like he was about to keel over as he looked at his new son being placed into his mothers waiting arms. Who looked at him with his own golden colored eyes. But what fascinated him the most was the two furry black ears twitching on top of his raven colored hair. Something wasn't right though. There was another smell coming for his mate almost like there was another—.

"Holy shit, there's another one!"

At Inuyasha shout, Kaede quickly looked back down as his mates face took on a look of shock. Sango rushed to take the baby as she let out a cry of pain. He quickly took her hand and tried not to wince as she squeezed with all the strength on her little body. Soon the small hut was filled with another cry of life.

"O my god. We have twins." Her breath panted out in puffs as she watched the look of wonder cross her husbands face. It was all worth it to see him like this. She didn't think that she could have ever been any happier, then in that moment when her twins were placed in her arms. One boy and one girl. One with golden eyes black hair and black ears and one with chocolate brown eyes, silver hair, and white dog-ears. She smiled as Inuyasha slipped behind her so that she could rest her head on his chest and he could look down at his new pups.

"Pretty amazing huh?"

"There really ours aren't they?" Her quiet laughter rang through the now empty hut. Kaede and Sango left, knowing that they needed a moment alone.

"Yes they are. All ours and we will do right by them." She knew her mate so well that she could almost here the memory's playing through his head of his own childhood.

"Nothing will happen to them." She placed a gentle kiss on his neck making him smile.

They both didn't seem to be able to take their eyes of the two wonders that they had made together. Proof that their love could withstand anything. Even time itself.

"I love you, Kagome." He wrapped his arms around her and his family, feeling like the happiest half dog demon on earth.

"I love you Koshi."

I think that Koshi is a term of endearment but I am not sure. So if it is wrong tell me so I can correct it PLEASE! Anyway please review and tell me if you liked it our not.
