"Lily! Get in here NOW or I'm going to hex you into the next life!" Ginny Potter screamed to Lily Luna who was busy chatting up Lysander Scamander.
"Coming Mum!" She called back, saying goodbye to Lysander and walking over to her mother.
"Go upstairs to Charlie and help her get ready." Ginny said ushering Lily up the stairs.
Lily pushed open the door and the sight that met her was awful. Amy (Charlie's cousin) doing Charlie's make-up while trying to do her hair at the same time.
"Lily, finally you're here! Do Charlie make-up for me will you?" Amy said giving Lily the make-up brush.
*1 hour later*
Everyone was ready, all that was left was for James and James and Charlotte to tie the knot.
"How do you feel?" Lily asked Charlie just before she walked down the aisle.
" Terrified." she answered as the music started to play.
*James' POV*
"How are you feeling, mate?" Freddie askew me.
"Terrified." I said as the music started to play, but as soon as I saw Charlie, all of my fear disappeared. She looked beautiful in her wedding dress. I really do love her.
*Several minutes later*
"James Sirius Potter, do you take Charlotte Alice Longbottom to be your lawful wedded wife?" The priest-dude said.
"I do" I responded firmly, I just hoped Charlie feels the same…
"And do you, Charlotte Alice Longbottom take James Sirius Potter to be your lawful wedded husband?"
Oh Merlin….
"I do." She said calmly and I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Then you may kiss the bride."
I didn't need telling twice, I kissed her. The music started to play again and I took her hand and we walked out of the marquee.
This really was The best day of my life…
