Separated Lover's Lament

A/N: This is an original work of poetry that I found hiding on a disk in the back of my desk drawer. This piece is over three years old, but I thought it fitting to post up in the Power Ranger's fandom because of all the pairings that have been separated, or never gotten together, because of the stupidity of the show's writers. Wanting you here everyday and night is driving me mad.

Waking up without you there leaves me feeling very sad.

How do we handle this attraction we feel?

Why do our souls suddenly seem sealed?

Power calling to Power could be to blame.

Is that you? All I can hear is your Soul Name?

Fighting this attrition is wearing me down.

Every time I see you wandering around.

Are you as confused, as I seem to be?

Can you bear to ever be seen with me?

Your face is burned into my brain.

I can hear your voice miles down the lane.

Speak to me my heart's desire,

Let us discover together our burning fire.
