The news that the Third Company would be making a stop in at Stone Mountain to "make sure the Lord is playing nice", as Raoul so delicately put it whilst his hands crushed the missive detailing the excursion, was welcomed with fierce grins.

Everyone in the Own knew about the Stone Mountain incident during Kel's period squiring with Raoul, and a good many of the Own were still waiting to make known their allegiance to the realm's Lady Knight.

The news that Group Askew would be accompanying the Own on this diplomatic mission also went over well, but no one in the mess hall was more excited than Evin, who promptly forgot that acting like an adult goes hand in hand with being Group Leader.

Flushed with excitement (and before anyone, even Miri, who normally sees these things coming, could stop him) Evin jumped onto the bench exclaiming.

"To protect the world from devastation,"

Dom was quick to follow, and equally excited to finally have a moment in which to test out their new motto, he responded from his own bench,

"To unite all peoples within our nation!"

Evin threw back his head so his blonde hair swept across his face oh so dramatically as he strode to meet Dom in the middle of their table.

"To denounce the evils of truth and love,"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!" Dom thrust his fist into the air.

Someone had given Evin a rose, which he flourished as he introduced himself. "Commander Vengeance!"

Dom swept a low bow. "Sergeant Justice,"

And then, back-to-back, they announced together,

"Team Awesome, blast off at the speed of light! Surrender now, or prepare to fight, Stone Mountain, that's right!"

Cheers, catcalls, and wolf whistles erupted from the Mess, and Buri turned to Raoul.

"Maybe I'll send a different group out with the Third."
