You're Everything

Authors Notes: Just a short story/song fanfic about DW and Gos, inspired by the last few pages of issue #4, from BOOM!'s series. As well as Kate Alexa's song "You're Everything" I don't own Darkwing Duck, or this song. Please read and review!

"GOSALYN!" Darkwing yelled as he raced over to Gosalyn. She had just zapped Taurus Bulba, and the shock had not only taken him out, but knocked the young girl out.

"Right from the day, I saw your face, and it all just felt so right.
And when I look back, I see the smile; you gave to me that night.
Your are the gate right to my heart.
I wanna live like this forever and ever"

Both Darkwing and Launchpad had made it over to Gosalyn, both worried. "Gosalyn..No!" Darkwing said as he began to reach for his daughter. His heart seemed to beat louder and louder. Never had he been this scared in him life.

"You're everything good to me
You make me free
You're everything I'll ever need
You're all I dream
You're everything
You make me complete
And now I can fly above the ground
Cause you're everything, you're everything to me."

Darkwing picked Gos up and held her close, "This can't happen. We can't let Bulba have this." With each word he spoke he became more and more depressed, "It was you…you who inspired me to come back"

"Oooh yeah..

Its finally clear now that your here, I've lost all that I feel.
I'll always embrace this fantasy place, this all just feels so real.
Under the sun, under the rain, just as long as I'm with you, with you.".

He continued to talk, hoping she would wake up and say something to him. Anything. Knowing this may very well be the end, he decided to express his feelings. "You've always been the inspiration. Your courage. Your honor. Having you by my side made me unstoppable. "

He whispered his final though. "You were always me superhero"

"Not a lonely day goes by
With you right here by my side
You give me the strength
I can do anything, anything
When you are here
My mind is weak"

Darkwing continued to hold Gos in his arms, wishing that this time it was the same as always. "You're everything"

Suddenly, Gosalyn began to cough. Darkwing slowly moved his head back. Could it be?

Gathering her strength, she lifted her head and replied. "Likewise…dad"

Darkwing was surprised! Gosalyn was going to be okay! "Oh Gosalyn" he explained as he hugged her again.

"You're everything"
