"I never realized how much I needed you until you left me.."

I miss him… I miss him so much.. If only i could see him again.. Talk to him.. Be with him… But he had to leave the tournament… I hope to see him again. Someday, somehow, I will see Lucas again.. Even if it takes me an eternity to finally get to see him, I'll do whatever it takes.

Ness was currently in his room at the Smash Mansion, he was the only one in this room. No one to share a room with since Lucas had left… He never realized how much he needed Lucas. When Lucas left Ness was happy for him, yet still very sad to have his best friend leave.

"I'll be back eventually Ness!" Tears flowed down Lucas' face "I-I'm gonna miss you so much.." It was like Lucas wanted to say more… But the words wouldn't come out. Lucas ran to Ness and gave his best friend one last tear-soaked hug "I'm really gonna miss you" he clung to Ness. "I think I l-'' Lucas' sound level faded, you could only hear sniffles. "I-I have to go… Bye Ness.. I'll miss you.." Lucas started walking away "I'll miss you too Lucas, be safe when you're gone, okay?" Lucas stopped "Right… bye Ness" Lucas wiped his tears, and finally walked away. It was done. Lucas was gone.

Ness' eyes widened every time he thought of that memory, it filled with regret, he could of said a lot more, but he didn't. That's what really upset Ness.

At the time, Ness never knew how much he would miss Lucas, he didn't know how lonely he would be... He never realized how much he had loved Lucas. He needed him by his side. He couldn't believe he just realized this… He needed Lucas, he really did. He'd do anything for Lucas, so why not make an effort to see him again.

Tomorrow was the day when new brawlers came, no brawls were taking place.. Ness flopped on his bed, before passing out only one thought was on his head… Lucas..
