100 themes challenge: Love
Leo tried to be fine on his own. He tried to convince himself that flirting with all these girls could get him somewhere. He told himself he didn't need love. He didn't need Jason's love, most of all. He was fine on his own. He didn't need someone to comfort him, or love him. He was fine.
Jason knew better. Leo pushed him away, but he kept coming back. He reminded him that even if he was fine on his own most of the time, there where those days. Those days filled with tears, and self hatred, when he needed Jason. And Jason was there. He was always there, waiting for Leo to break, and making sure he was fixed.
Every time, Leo was reminded he wasn't a machine. He was a human being, no matter how much he wished he wasn't. Humans require more than just tools and oil to be repaired. Leo couldn't fix himself. As much as he absolutely despised admitting it, he needed Jason. If not for long nights wrapped in his arms, Leo would have ended himself a long time ago.
Leo wasn't a machine. He needed love like he needed air and food and water. And Jason. He needed Jason.
