A/N: This started out as a drabble and kind of just got a bit bigger. I really love hightideshipping so I started this story but I didn't want to type it all out, because I really don't know if I love how I write them so please review!

It's a pirate au with an Evil Lord Kyoji, Pirate King Shark, and Luna.

I Don't own Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal.

"I have a deal for you." Shark watches his newest hostage approach the bars of her cell slowly and calmly nearly looking like a breathing shadow.

She could very well be one he reminds himself; with the robe that shrouds her in the darkness and her remarkable ability to make no noise even with shackles placed upon her.

Her hooded robe covers most of her head but still long ebony tendrils of hair escape from beneath their prison and piercing green eyes stare at him intently and with purpose.

It's both bewildering and amusing.

"You are not really in the position to make a deal."

The girl pulls her hood down and reveals a small grin on her face. "A trade then?"

"You have nothing to offer me and I don't like to waste my time." With that he gives a small bow to the girl before turning and heading back up to the deck.

The floor boards let out an eerie creak under his boots as he makes his exit.

"I can offer you Kyoji Yagumo's defeat."

Shark freezes as her words hit him.

"You have gone up against him before, Yes?"

How did she know…?

"It is none of your concern."

He's already gone over all his maps and planned trip after trip to even get a glimpse of the Man. Years of dedication have taught him that he will not find Kyoji. Not unless Kyoji wants to be found.

"Excuses, and here I had heard grand stories of the feared Pirate King Shark…" Her green eyes lock onto his. "I expected more."

Anger flashes through him. To be mocked by his captive, let alone a girl who seems to know more than she should. More like a girl who should watch her words for someone chained up on an enemy ship.

"That's not it-"

"Shark."

He stops talking as he hears the determination in her voice.

"I wish to bring an end to Kyoji's terror. I think you are the answer."

The silence hangs over them for but a moment before she continues.

"You have the required skill to win against him, even with his magic."

He watches her pull a chain from the depths of her cloak and slowly show the golden ornament attached. It shines even here in the prison and immediately he feels the power sealed deep inside the thing.

"What is it?"

"It holds the key to your victory over the Dread Lord Yagumo."

Shark stares at the pendant swinging from her grasp before turning his attention back to the girl. "What do you want in return?"

"Let's begin with the key first of all." Shark glances down at her feet that are still bound in irons and makes a non-committal noise. "Then perhaps a chance of voyage on your ship."

His immediate answer is no. He will not be some kind of revolutionary base for her, and he means to say just so, but curiosity has slowly taken a hold of him and he knows that he will regret not knowing what the pendant can do.

"What's your name?"

The girl stares at him for a moment and he can once again sense the power she has hidden somehow, somewhere. She's a mystery and Sharkcan feel deep in his soul that agreeing to her deal will be the death of him but the very idea of Lord Kyoji and his blood reign makes him reach for the key hiding in his coat.

"Luna."

Thank you for reading! Also sorry for it not being very hightideshipping and sounding a bit rushed, it's part of this big story I've been working on (it'll be a different pov I think because I don't like this as much but this is practice so oh well) also it was meant to drabbly and short so please don't hit me.
