So, as the summary states, it's a collection of Huma and Sea-Three one shots, but Audrey will play a part. I was looking at some stuff on tumblr and realized a Sea-Three + Audrey friendship should be canon, not only would Uma and Audrey bond over their hatred for Mal, but Audrey could also teach Uma some girly stuff with makeup and all that, plus while Audrey watches Gil and how pure and adorable he is, and all of the love Uma and Harry have for each other (and Gil) she realizes that VK's really aren't all bad. Anyway, please enjoy!
A New Beginning
The Sea-Three sat in silence in the black limo, well, not complete silence, Gil just discovered chocolate, and he was eating as much of it as he could. Uma was too lost in thought to be irritated by the Son of Gaston, and Harry was too focused on his queen to notice him either.
"Uma." Harry said softly, snapping the sea witch out of her thought.
"What?" She replied acting like everything was fine, smiling at her first mate.
"What's wrong?" He asked, kissing her forehead. His light touch made her feel better about opening up, she glanced at Gil, Uma didn't want him to see her being vulnerable. Gil was trying the combination of chocolate and caramel and was oblivious to his Captain and her First Mate. Uma let out a light sigh and told her troubles to the Son of Hook.
"Why are we even here? 2 months ago, I was here trying the steal the wand and I failed miserably, and now we're here because Beastie Boy won't stop begging us?"
Almost all the VK's had left the Isle of the Lost, King Ben kept writing letters, saying how much could be done with the help of the Daughter of Ursula and her pirate crew. She refused every time, but the blue haired beauty felt selfish, keeping her crew here, especially Harry and Gil, when they could have such a better life in Auradon. She told everyone to go, including her boys, but they wouldn't leave without her. So she made the choice to finally accept Ben's offer.
"I hate hearing you say bad things about yourself." Harry said, making her smile.
"I'm sorry" She said playfully. "But in all seriousness, what are we doing here? What are we gonna do? Be normal? I guess I'm just worrying about the future, I mean, up until 2 months ago, my future plan was to rain evil on Auradon, now I'm just so confused." She rested her head on the dramatic pirate's shoulder as he put his arm around her.
"Well, I think the more important question is, am I in your future?" Harry asked playfully, but the look in his eyes said it all, the look said what it always said, that he was in love with her.
"C'mon, I'm being serious!" She slightly whined. The look in her eye said that she loved him too. But she was scared to say it. Of course Harry was in her future, but she could never admit how she wanted him in her future, but maybe now that they were in bore-a-don, she could admit it... her thoughts were once again broken by Harry.
"Well, if I'm honest, it doesn't look all that bad here." They both looked out the window, as Gil reminded them that he was there by throwing a box of M&M's at them.
"Man, you guys gotta try those." He said, taking a bite out of his 4th hersey bar. Harry was offended that Gil would so brazenly throw something in the direction of his queen, but that said queen reminded him that Gil literally did nothing wrong. The 2 did as suggested, trying a mouthful of M&M's each.
"These are really good." Uma said, pouring a few more in her palm. She looked Harry in the eye and blushed a little. "Maybe it won't be so bad here." The two continued eye contact before their sexual tension was broken by the driver.
"We're here." He announced in a monotone voice. The 3 looked in horror as they saw the band performance arranged for their arrival, well Gil was only upset about it because Uma and Harry were, he actually thought it was kinda nice. The car pulled to a stop and they were reluctant to get out. Right there to greet them was Ben, and Lady of the Court, Mal. Uma would not let go of Harry's hand, not wanting to face Mal alone, and scared that if she couldn't feel Harry there than he would disappear.
"Hi, Uma, Harry, and Gil, we're really glad you guys came." The King had said, offering to shake hands, the only one who shook his hand was the ball of sunshine, Gil. It was pure awkward silence as the band stopped playing and were told by Fairy God Mother to go back to class. She broke the silence by giving them individual files of papers.
"These are your class schedules, dorm information, and so on" Fairy God Mother was interrupted by her daughter who had to hand her some other papers.
"This is my daughter Jane, but I'm sure you remember her." She said with a rude undertone. Uma just glared and clinged onto Harry.
"Oh, you do remember Jane, don't you? When you came here to steal the wand and completely failed at it." Mal said, everyone looked at her.
"Don't do this Mal." Ben said, looking at her in the eyes. Mal quickly faced Uma and Harry.
"No, I am gonna do this! You spelled Ben, trying to take over Auradon!" Uma quickly let go of Harry and stood up to her.
"You know, I could kill you so easily and not feel an ounce of remorse."
"Then why don't you do it?"
Her boys held her back before Uma could lunge at the purple haired fairy, Ben also grabbed Mal by the hand.
"Come on, let's go Mal." He said with disappointment in his voice. Jane followed the couple, feeling awkward enough in this whole situation that she wasn't even trying to be a part of in the first place.
The Sea Three stood there as Fairy God Mother took their weapons and Uma's necklace.
"You can earn them by the end of the semester if your good." They hated the way the older woman said that, like they were children getting their favorite toy taken away.
As they were brought into Auradon Prep they learned that the three of them couldn't share a room together.
"This is bullshit!" Harry yelled outside his new room.
"No cursing, and that's just the way it is. Only 2 people in one room and boys and girls can't share a room." Uma calmed down her first mate.
"At least you can stay with Gil." She reasoned.
"But where are you gonna be?" That said ball of sunshine asked his captain. Uma looked at Fairy God Mother.
"Well, lucky enough, your only a few doors down." They walked down 3 doors, and as they stood at the doorway the Daughter of Sleeping Beauty came out.
"What are they doing here?" She asked both shocked and upset, Audrey looked at the 3 VK's in front of her, they were obviously VK's, but she had yet to find out that the blue haired girl in front her was the monster who had ruined Cotillion while she was gone. The head mistress answered the brunette while putting her arm on Uma's shoulder. It took everything in Uma to not scream "Don't fucking touch me!" at Fairy God Mother.
"This is Uma, you 2 will be dormmates for at least this semester." Uma couldn't help but see this as an opportunity to instill some fear.
"I'm Ursula's daughter." She said, practically purring. Audrey's eyes went wide before she spoke.
"I am not sharing my room with a villain!" She pouted. Since the princess was being honest, the sea witch thought she would be too.
"Well I don't wanna share a room with a stupid pink princess, but here I am." She stated with extra bitterness. The 2 girls stared at each other, Harry was ready to defend his queen at any second, and Gil was thinking that the stupid pink princess in front of him was really pretty. Fairy God Mother knew that these 2 girls sharing a room was a match from hell, but she was honestly just too tired to deal with it.
"Girls, I know you 2 are gonna hate each other, but can you just please try to get along?" Audrey, wanting to be a good girl like she was raised said 'fine'. And Uma was a villain, but she wasn't a bitch. So she waved a truce too.
"Okay, good." And then Fairy God Mother walked away fast paced.
"Welcome to Auradon" Audrey said bitterly and left the door open for Uma. But she chose to stay outside to talk to her boys for a few minutes.
"You want me to hook her?" Harry asked bluntly. His sea goddess gave him a disapproving look, but she was about to smile, that made him smile too.
"No, I just wanted to have a minute alone with Harry." She looked at Gil.
"Okay, bye." She felt bad sending him away, but she just really needed to talk with her first mate for a minute.
"Harry, I don't know how I'm gonna deal with all this, being here with Mal, not sharing a room with you guys..." She ran her fingers through her braids as stress took over. He quickly pulled her into him, she nuzzled her face in his neck.
"Uma" He said her name softly, like a prayer, the way she loved hearing him say it. "I'm here, and I won't let anything happen to you." The Daughter of Ursula pulled out of the Son of Hook's arms and smiled at her secret love.
"I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself."
"Yeah, but I would be dammed if didn't at least try to protect you." He smiled back. Once again, tension filled their space.
"Well, you should probably go to Gil, try to get settled in." Uma said. Harry did as he was told, heading into his new room. Uma walked into her new room, closing the door. She set her blue backpack on the bed that seemed unused. She quickly realized she was alone, she wondered where her new dormmate was, she figured it out when she heard crying from the bathroom.
So, I feel like I made Uma a little OOC, but I just wanted to write some cheesy huma fluff, I hope I did a decent job of that. I know there was already some full on demonizing of Mal, as much as I love her and the rest of the rotten four, Uma is still my girl and in D3 I really hope we see a legit apology from Mal. TBH I don't really know what this fanfic is, it's not really a story since there's no overall plot, but the one shots all kinda take place in order like a story. What I do know is that I've had this idea for a while so I absolutely promise I won't delete this fanfic or anything like that. Anyway, I really hope anyone besides me enjoys this. :)
