I Write Sins Not Tragedies
Chapter One: Curse of the Innocent Murderer
A figure ran through the rain, his black ankle length trench coat following him. His bangs fell before his eyes, refusing to go into his ponytail. He let the rain wash the blood off his face and hands. His eyes were filled with fear. "Don't find me...don't find me...no, you can't, it's not my fault, I didn't do it, he did...it's all his fault...all his fault...he murdered them, all of them."
He ran up steps and pulled back the stain glass doors of the old abandoned church. He walked forward, paying no attention to the cobwebs and dust everywhere. He walked down the aisle till he stood in front of a crucifix. He fell to his knees and placed his palms on the ground, water falling from his hair onto his face, making the illusion he was crying.
He looked up at the face of Jesus, and screamed. "Why have you bestowed this upon me? I have done nothing to you! Nothing! Yet I have this curse...Why have you damned me so?" He screamed once more, his eyes slits, before falling completely to the cold floor, water dripping from the ceiling onto him. "Why have you damned me so...?" he repeated in a whisper before closing his eyes and letting the darkness come with open arms.
Eyes of Lethality walked off the stage, each boy drenched in sweat. They walked out of the stadium, and into a large limo. "Woo, that sure give you an energy rush!" said the energetic keyboardist. "Speak for yourself, Max. I was about to just fall asleep right on stage!" said Tyson, laughing. "Well, as long as you can play in your sleep, that's fine with me!" said Ray. The three seventeen year olds laughed.
The lead singer of the band, Kai, looked out the window and watched the rain roll down the window.
"Man, what's with the old, creepy church?" asked Max, looking over the bluenette's shoulder. Their friend Kenny adjusted his glasses. "They left it years ago after an 'evil spirit' went into it. They tried to get it out, but nothing worked. It would always go into the body of one of the people in Church. But that's just a legend, it's been proved wrong. But no one knows the actual reasons they left it there..."
Tyson grinned. "You know, I hear sometimes people hear screaming coming from inside the Church. They say it sounds inhumanly, like a demon. The voice is filled with pain, vengeance, and hate." Tyson's eyes went under shadow and he placed a claw like hand on Kenny's shoulder. He felt the younger brunette shiver in fear. Everyone laugh except Kai.
Kenny gulped. "Uh, why don't we, uh, see the news?" He took the remote on the armrest, and switched the small TV on.
"Eyes of Lethality had another concert today, and it went well without any injuries to anyone in the audience. But, outside of the stadium, there was yet another murder. Police have said nothing except there wasn't much if any evidence pointing to who could have done it. There is a reward for anyone who has any news that might help the officers in their search.
"Moving on to much happier news,-"
Kenny switched off the TV and everyone looked around at each other. "Every concert, everywhere we go, there's a murder..."
Tyson smirked. "I know just what we should do."
Ray looked at him. "And what's your plan, all mighty one?"
"I say we go under cover."
Eyes of Lethality: Review or I kill you...
