"So… you have a girlfriend", Yuki muttered, partly to Kakeru, but mostly to himself. He was cleaning the white-board, while Kakeru was collecting his stuff and getting ready to leave. The other boy stopped in his tracks and turned to Yuki, looking confused.
"What did you say, Yun Yun?" Kakeru asked, and put his bag down on the table. Yuki continued cleaning.
"I just… you have a girlfriend. You know… I'm kind of jealous", the boy said, still not turning around to meet the other's gaze. He couldn't. Not with his cheeks so flushed.
"Oh! I don't get it. Why would you be jealous? You could get just about any girl in this school, so why not plain pick one? There are lots of cute ones around, so just go for it, Yun Yun! But I've gotta go now, see you tomorrow!" Kakeru said, grinning, before turning around and exiting the room. Yuki turned around as well and caught a glimpse of his back, before the door closed. A sad smile formed itself on his lips.
"But it's not a girlfriend I want…"
