A.N. I'm not really sure if this is how a wedding goes, but I thought I might as well take a stab at it. I think it is ok, and I know it is really short, but hey, I'm working on it! Maybe I would work on more things if people actually reviewed! *Hint Hint. Wink wink, Nudge Nudge.* Now on to the story! Enjoy
The music started playing, and he turned with a jolt. He hadn't realized that this moment would come so soon; but as he turned, all the thoughts and fears were driven from his head. She was coming towards him. She seemed to be walking on air, and to Harry, he had never seen a more beautiful girl. The white gown was inlaid with similar colored beads in intricate patterns. Patterns that looked like nothing he had ever seen before, something that could have come from the heavens. Flowers, and feathers, and waves, and stars, all seemed to shine out in the patterns of beads flowing up and down the bodice.
The skirt went down past her ankles, and flowed, giving the appearance that she was walking on air. Flowing material, that wasn't too puffed out fit her perfectly, and between the folds of this mysterious fabric Harry could see her shoes: white sandals with flowers on the tops, and ribbons tied around her ankles.
Her long hair was curled and pulled back in a half ponytail, so that her long curls fell on her shoulders, and her bangs framed her heart shaped face. A white tiara of flowers and jewels caressed her head, and white flowers had been placed carefully in her hair. The veil covered her face, but he could still see her beaming.
Distantly he heard music, and realized that his beaming bride was coming closer and closer, born upon the arm of her smiling father. Her mother sat in the front row wearing a dress of palest blue, and she was crying as her daughter reached her fiancé. Harry held out his hand, she grasped it tightly, and he could feel her shaking with excitement and happiness. The stood together hand in hand, only staring at each other, barely even listening to the ceremony that was commencing around them. Exchanging the wedding vows, was one of the happiest parts of Harry's life, and as he looked at his bride, he knew he had made the right choice.
"You may kiss the bride."
Harry pulled aside the veil that parted him from his wife, and leaned down slowly towards her smiling face. And then suddenly she lost all control and kissed him. Kissed him like he had never been kissed before, and he kissed her back; he kissed her until he couldn't hear anything but his own beating heart. Finally breaking the kiss Harry looked around and saw all of his friends and family waiting for him. He smiled broadly at them, looked back at his wife, and kissed her again. Her swept her off her feet, and carried her to the dance floor.
Ginny Potter smiled and kissed him again, and he realized that this was one of the many reasons that he loved Ginny; she had always been there for him. And even as the music began to play, and he and Ginny were caught up in well wishers, Harry had eyes only for his lover, the one and only beautiful girl in the world, the only one who could kiss him quite as she could. Harry smiled as he leaned to steal another breathtaking kiss from her lips, as his lips captured hers, he didn't let go for a very long time, and her smile almost seemed to say:
"See? I told you I would wait for you, and now here we are."
Harry couldn't help but smile as this thought entered his mind, and to take that smirk off her face he kissed her again, and knew that these were the only lips he would ever kiss again.
