Sure Thing

At first, Miko didn't think that she would see Vogel again after the relic mission in New York, but there he was. Miko was both pleasantly surprised and confused as to why Vogel was in Jasper. Hell, she thought he would forget that the whole thing ever happened, going back to construction and whatnot. But, as luck would have it, Vogel had something to tell her, something of great interest.
"No way."
"I'm telling you I thought I saw those robot guys again in the Big Apple, two or more."
Sitting at the table in Unit: E, Miko leaned in carefully, curiosity having been peaked, as she continued to snack on the potato chips.
"Are you sure, like sure sure?" Miko asked excitedly after she swallowed the chips she was chewing.
Vogel nodded enthusiastically before sitting down at the counter.
"You bet – you think it might be one of your Autobot pals?" Vogel asked, and Miko soon had a smile spread wide on her face, one she hadn't had in a long time.
"Abso-freakin-lutely."
Sure, it seemed like those two were a couple of conspiracy theorists, as they hoped to see robots, something really out of the ordinary. They hoped to see something that was far from the safe normalcy they knew, and it was unlikely, to say the least.
But now, more than ever, it felt like a sure thing.
