The red head knelt down on the newly piled dirt. Tears cascaded down her face as her fingers traced the engraved letters on the headstone.

"It was your funeral today, baby. I miss you so much and it's not getting any easier. I just want you to come back to me." Sobs wracked the young girl's body.

"I keep having nightmares."

"I keep reliving the whole thing. When he-when you-" The girl bent over, weeping, unable to finish her thought.

"I don't know how to live without you."

"Your pillow still smells like you. And when I woke up this morning, for just a second, it was like you were still here."

"People keep telling me it will get better, but I don't think it will, baby. Nothing is better when you're not here."

"I'm so scared. I don't know what I'm supposed to do without you. Who's gunna take care of me like you do? Everyone is trying to help me but it's not the same. They're not you. They don't know me like you do. Like how you always knew just when I needed you to hold me and tell me that it would all be okay. You knew what I needed before I did. No one will ever know me the way you do. The way you did."

"I love you so much, baby. It's not fair. How am I supposed to keep control without you? When I lost you I lost complete control of myself. The things I did-I-I became a monster." The girl sounded disgusted with herself. "I almost ended the world. I hurt everyone I've ever cared about. What if that happens again?"

"I don't want to be here without you. It's too hard."

There was a long pause and the girl tried to control the sob that took over her body. Anyone looking at the girl would've been heartbroken at the sight.

"Hey, we're going back to the house" a girl, younger than the red head and with long brown hair said, brushing tears from her own face. "Are you gunna come home with us?"

"Yeah," the girl kneeling managed, "I'll be there in a minute." She watched the younger girl walk away, back to their group of friends before once again tracing her fingers over the letters on the head stone.

"I have to go now, but I promise I'll be back soon." She stood up.

"I love you, Tara," she whispered before turning from the stone and walking to the car.
