(Note: i do not own the series!) I entered this poem into the poetry contest that Melissa De La Cruz was having though i didn't win i did get the first five chapters of her new book Revelations in the mail before the book was ever out. Anyway i just wanted to see if you guys at Fanfiction like it and review if you do i would apreciate that thanks!
Sky of Light

How I long to hold your fragile body in my arms
Protect you from Silver Blood harm
How I long to kiss those sweet lips
That would be my greatest wish
How I long to no longer conceal my undying love for you
When I shall not have to hide behind a mask to prove I am true
How I long to give you your own story of love
The best you will ever hear of
To you I am drawn
Reading your deepest thoughts
Yet never able to show you mine
Tempting my fidelity
Bringing me closer to breaking my bond
Only madness will come if I continue my love
Except my will is too weak compared to my love that is strong
How I long to forget my responsibilities and past
And to be with you at last
How I long to bask in your light
Instead of in the presence of darkness and black nowhere near pure white
