Mkay so I posted this on DLS yesterday and figured I'd post it here too. It's a oneshot. As for the title? Well, I was listening to a song with the same name while writing this and it sorta stuck. It's not my best work, but it refused to leave me alone until I had written it xD.

Please R&R.

She awoke to the sound of an alarm and instinctively reached out for her alarm clock, her hand slapping the small black box. When the beeping refused to stop, her eyes widened and she pushed herself up and out of bed. Stopping only to slip her slippers on, the young blonde threw open her bedroom door and cringed at the sight before her.

Her first thought: the air was black. Smoke was filling the air, clouding her vision and filling her lungs. Despite worrying about the other two people in who were in the house, she rushed down the stairs, baning on the door to her sister's room and on the guest room as she passed.

Chaos greeted her when she reached the sidewalk. Blue lights flashed in the dark night, illuminating the night. Sirens were wailing and even a news crew had showed up. Stepping to one side, she watched as a group of firefighters prepared to go inside the burning house, oxygen tanks strapped to their backs, helmets on their heads and yellow fireproof overalls covering their bodies. Turning her back to the flames, she almost jumped out of her skin when two strong arms wrapped around her. Turning again, she saw who it was and buried her head into his bare, smoky chest, her heart full of worry for her sister who was still inside.

Minutes passed yet to her they felt like hours. Her large blue eyes watched the firemen enter the building, watched the crowd of people who came from their houses, watched the news crew reporting. This was the juciest thing on the television now, everyone was sick and tired of hearing about Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan's lasted drunken party.

Her heart was now in her throat as finally a man dressed in yellow emerged, a slumped and seemingly lifeless person in his arms. No. No. Her sister couldn't be dead... The second blonde girl was placed into an ambulance and was soon joined by her sister. She brushed the lifeless girl's hair back from her face, the short blonde locks matted with soot and stinking of smoke. Her eyes remained closed and she breathed in oxygen from a mask.

Stepping down and away from the ambulance, took a cell phone that was being held out to her by her boyfriend and sent a text message.

There's been an accident. Meet us at the hospital.

Taking his hand, she followed him to his car and stared out of the window the entire ride to the hospital.

Upon reaching the hospital, her fears were confirmed by the look on the face of the man she had messaged. Holding out the signature star ring, he collapsed into a chair and all three people cried.
