Please note that this is only a teaser, after five reviews I'll add more to it.

Disclaimer: If I owned it, writing this here would be a waste of my time. XD

This story is made thanks to an idea I got from one of my role plays with sussiekitten.

~+~On with the story~+~

Ino was the first one to contract the disease. She began acting strangely around the rest of her team for about a week. Then Shikamaru spotted something strange, a single white feather with a black spot on it, sticking out of her hair. Naturally, he went to investigate, a short tug proved his suspicions, the feather was attached to Ino's head. Over the course of a month, Ino had grown ten more feathers and had stopped acting like a girl all-together. That's when it happened, all the other girls in the Hidden Leaf Village started dying of some unknown illness.

Ino was terribly depressed. So Shikamaru had gone to comfort 'her', coming back to tell the whole village that Ino had, not only turned into a large snowy owl, but 'she' had turned into a boy as well.

Everyone was shocked. Naruto leaped up and turned Shikamaru around, pointing at the brown and black flecked feather sticking out of the back of Shikamaru's shirt. At this point everyone panicked.

~+~ 2 years later ~+~

Red-orange fur flashed in the sunlight as the fox-nin of Konoha leaped into the underbrush in pursuit of team seven's leader. Ridding on the fox's back, holding onto the necklace to assure that he wouldn't fly off, was the little black pervy-rat. Team seven had also gained a new member due to the circumstances. Fire Country was immersed in the Aminala-nin disease, which had infested all the bordering countries and their villages except one, the village of Sand. The new member of team seven was to replace Sakura, though; to Naruto he was more of a replacement for Sasuke. The russet raccoon bounded beside the fox as they chased their team leader.

A soft snap of a twig sounded from the tree just above them. The fox looked up to see a Great Horned Owl sleeping with a Snowy Owl tucked under its wing. The fox grinned up at the happy couple then leaped on his way. Team seven's mission was a border dispute between Fire Country and the Sound ninjas. "K-Ka-Kaka-Kahashi, ha-hao-how much longer?" asked the rat, bouncing on the fox's back as it loped to catch up with the grey wolf. "Not long, Sai," replied the wolf simply, grinning to itself. The fox was going out of its way to try and shake the rat off. "Get off Sai, dattebayo, you're diseased," it hissed.

The rat 'sounded' hurt, "Why Naru-kun, you wound me." The fox and raccoon scoffed in unison.
