Um, okay. So this is my first fanfic in this site. I'm still inexperience in writing and lacks of vocabulary and there might be some grammatical errors(yeah, I'm not from England _) This is the story set years after the events of Code Geass R2 (I assume that you have known what happened in the ending, so don't even read this fanfic if you haven't watched it!)
The original characters of Code Geass and everything from the series belong to Sunrise. Of course my OCs are owned by me LOL
So, hope you enjoy.
Eight years ago
The river is flowing fiercely as the storm goes on. Before the typhoon, it was a tranquil stream with lushes of green forest. Its riverbank was said to be a perfect spot to cleanse oneself from life's depressions. However, it is no longer a safe place to relax. It is the worst to be at the moment. Dark clouds in the gray sky with lightning slashing their ways. Series of wild winds blow, lifting anything they can lift away with. Downpour of rains washes the earth of its impurities into the ocean. Every second the streams will gain altitude, which makes the river more than just dangerous.
No one will approach the area. No one will notice them…. Two children who are fighting for their lives in the currents. The older one, a girl with long flowing black hair holds on a part of a large tree's roots. She grabs as tightly as she can, while her other hand holds on a little boy. She can hardly maintain her remaining strength for both whilst the merciless waters would not tolerate everything in their way.
The boy is near his limits with only tiny bits of conscious left in him. He would have just fall backwards and sleep if he were not in the situation. But the boy is aware of the crisis. He had been trying his best to cling on the girl's protective arms. The girl who is risking her life for his. The girl who is the remainder of his family. His sister. The only one left in the lights of his life…
We have lost everything…
Our home
Our friends
Our family
Our happiness
Everything….
…because of them.
Tears are flowing from the boy's eyes. No. They have been flowing all the time even before the storm begins. Then the boy gazes at his sister. She does not show signs of weakness or giving in to the losses. She had cried enough tears. However, a deep scar has been craved in her heart. One that would never heals, even eight years later...
Short? Yes, it is!
It's only the first part of the Prologue! I'm still a bit confused of how to put in the next scenes. Not a very able writer yet (_)
I'll update after semester later (5th December)
Please do Review and tell me what you think! I want to make the fanfic as great as I can!
