He looked over at him, watching through a screen. It seemed rather odd, how the other man made him feel. It was almost as if he would be able to do nothing, except look at him, watch him, all from afar.
It was doing this that caused the man to regret his feelings. Why was it that someone so sick, so twisted, and freakish, was able to cause a pause in his steps, thoughts, and speech?
He himself was the greatest of "Super-heroes." And here along comes one freak in make up and caused him to change. It wasn't and didn't feel right.
No one deserved to make him feel this way.
Perhaps though, it wasn't Bruce Wayne who thought about him like this, perhaps, it was Batman.
The God of the night, the 'Peacekeeper' of Gotham. Maybe, it was this person who felt this way towards such a man. Such a creature.
And how appropriate it seemed. As if The Batman could pick someone, as if the crime fighter had a choice to pick someone, anyone, to obsess over.
Unlike other 'Gods' though, The Batman had picked him, the man who kills simply to watch what happens next. A man who tortures people just to see if human's still have feelings. This man was the Joker.
A man, a villain, a freak who didn't deserve love or even feelings, yet here he was getting them, from the every man he dreamed to someday destroy.
But most of all was the fact of Batman obsessing over him. The only reason for this: He knew he was somewhat right. The Joker's words had an ill cunning behind them.
But to think, a man who Bruce, who Batman could now face, it was, a little more then thrilling. Even attractive to an extent.
The way the man thought was enough to force Batman into a small madness. Though, perhaps this was the reason for his crazed sort of lust for the other man.
Perhaps it was because the Joker was also obsessed with him. He felt drawn to the Joker as well. He wished to talk to him, to understand him, yet he knew this would not be able to go through.
And of course, this was another reason as to why The Batman wanted him: Because he wasn't allowed to have him, and he was his other half, though his other half was FREE.
