The Guardians were in board the Milano searching for a new mission. It had been a while since they'd done anything,with Thanos defeated on Earth's moon. Originally the team was was huge and had many this time things were back to normal, most of their new members were injured or missing from the last mission. So now it was just Rocket,Quill,Drax,Gamora and Groot...yeah it was that bad. They were ambushed by a guy called black Zetsu,the team took a huge hit,Rose and Jason nearly died and now Ranger's missing.
Rocket was in his room lying down on his pillow face down trying very hard not to cry,this black Zetsu hurt everyone he cared about. At the thought of this Rocket growled and sat up,all Rocket felt now was rage,nothing more nothing less,just pure animal rage,that's how bad this looked. Zetsu didn't spare anyone not even Lylla she was suffering from a head injury and a puncture wound through the waist. The thought and sight of it made a tear fall down Rocket's cheek,he was going to kill Zetsu no mater what that was all he was thinking,kill,kill,kill. Wanting to blow off some steam Rocket exited his room and went to the training room and found a punching bag which he hit repeatedly again and again.
"hurt my friend will ya?" Rocket said as he punched the bag
"then you come after my bro" he hit the bag again,at this point he was growling
"but then you crossed a line and hurt my girl...screw you!" Rocket shouted as he hit the bag so hard it came off it's chain and landed on the floor with a big thud,sweat and tears trickled down Rocket's cheeks as he fell to his knees.
Quill came into the training room to see what the commotion was about,only to find a shirtless Rocket on his knees with bandages wrapped around his palm,Quill could see that Rocket was devastated and apparently now had a very short fuse. He was cautious about angering his furry friend so he went over and knelt down beside Rocket,he put an arm on his shoulder.
