Takes place in the summer between twilight and new moon. HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDWARD!
Sitting in the Cullen living room I pressed my cheek into Edward's chest and sighed at its coolness. It was summer and it was actually pretty warm, shocking seeing as how we were in Forks. But it didn't matter because I had my wonderful boyfriend to help keep me cool. We were just relaxing watching T.V. when Alice came skipping in the room. I felt Edward tense and sigh.
"Alice, don't you dare." He said with clenched teeth. I sat up and looked at them curiously.
"What's wrong?" I asked looking at Edward. He shook his head and smiled at me.
"Nothing. Alice was just leaving, right Alice." He said glaring at her. She laughed and smiled at me.
"Hey Bella did you know-"she was cut off by Edward covering her mouth with his hand. She was struggling to get free from him and I couldn't help but laugh a little bit.
"Alice, I will let you go, if you promise to leave right now." He said still holding her. "And stop trying to bite me" she finally stopped trying and he slowly let her go.
"What is going on?" I asked standing up and putting my hands on my hips. "What are you hiding from me Edward?" i looked at him expectantly and he just shook his head.
"Nothing. I'm not hiding anything." He looked at me with pleading eyes.
"Gosh Edward, I don't understand why you are making such a big deal about this? She deserves to know!" Alice said with a laugh.
"Just leave" he said glaring at her again. She turned and walked to the stair and just before she ran up she turned and said, "Happy birthday Edward!" then she was gone. Edward slapped his forehead with his hand and sighed.
"It's your birthday?" I asked quietly. He looked at me and nodded.
"Yes, but it's not a big deal, I don't celebrate it at all, there is no need to." He shrugged like it was no big deal and walked over to me.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I said quietly. He touched my cheek and smiled at me.
"I honestly didn't even think about it. I stopped thinking about my birthday a long time ago." I went on my tip toes and kissed him softly on the lips.
"Well what do you want for your birthday?" I asked with a small smile. He gave me his crooked smiled and chuckled.
"I already got it." He smiled and kissed me again. "I love you" he said against my lips. I smiled into our kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"I love you too, happy birthday"
So I know I haven't been updating recently, but I have been super busy. Hopefully I will be able to update a lot more now that its summer! Woo! Happy birthday Edward Anthony mason Cullen!
