A/N: So, I saw this week's episode and was totally flipping out. Bonnie and Elena? But I thought it would be a good time to work in some Damon/Bonnie, so… enjoy!
Take Care Of Yourselfake
Bonnie awoke in a motel room. She moaned, a dull throbbing in her forehead distracting her momentarily. She sat up slowly and took in her surroundings. A room with two queen sized beds, a dresser with a mirror over top: just a run of the mill Holiday Inn. Bonnie stood up, but was knocked down again by a gust of wind.
"Ben?" She asked, his dark form looming over her.
"That's right, Bonnie. I brought you here, and now we're going to have some fun." He stated. Bonnie felt her eyes widen. He was a vampire, and if she knew Damon (which she did), she knew exactly what kind of fun he was talking about.
"I don't think that's a good idea. You see, I'm a witch. And witches can start fires with their minds. Connect the dots. Besides, the Salvatore brothers would come looking for me, and since they'd find you… well, I think you can guess the rest."
"The Salvatore brothers don't scare me. They wouldn't be able to touch me."
"Wanna bet?" Bonnie's head whipped around in time to see Damon coming at Ben. Damon threw a punch, and Ben flew across the room. Bonnie took the opportunity to stand and run to the door. She turned to see Damon off a chunk of the wooden headboard, but didn't stay to see the rest. She ran out the door and started down the street, hyperaware of every sound and movement. The adrenaline was rushing through her veins, making it almost difficult for her to breathe. She knew where she had to go: to Grams', where she would be safe because neither brother had been invited in.
She felt a gust of wind once more, and knew Damon had used his speed to catch up to her. "What do you want with me, Damon? Thanks for saving my life and all, but you're not exactly the vampire I want to see right now."
Damon smirked and grabbed her arm, halting Bonnie's walk. Bonnie's chocolate eyes met his smoldering ones, and she nearly swooned. Nearly. Sure, Damon was incredibly attractive, but he was an ass, and a big one at that.
"Emily and I had a deal. I protect her lineage, she opens the tomb. Well, since you're her lineage and my only chance of getting into that tomb, then I had to fulfill my half of the deal, didn't I?"
"Yeah, whatever. Now let me go, Damon. I just want to get someplace safe." Bonnie responded. She resumed walking down the street, and Damon let her go, turning to watch her hips sway.
"And stop staring at my ass, Salvatore. You're eyes are going to burn a hole in my dress." Bonnie tossed him a smirk over her shoulder. He grinned at her, and she grinned back, unable to stop herself.
"Take care of yourself, little witch. I don't want to have to come to your rescue all the time." Damon said.
"Damon, I hate you. You need me. I'm pretty sure you're the one that keeps running back to me."
"Touché, little witch," he paused for a moment, and then, "Hey Bonnie."
She turned to face him.
"Take care of yourself, okay? I'm serious." Damon stated.
Bonnie felt the corner of her mouth turn up just a bit. "I will."
