Lydia's One shot.
Lydia was walking around backstage and bumped into her best friend, of two years. Wade Barrett.
"Lydia!" He burst out.
"Hi Wade!" She burst back.
"What's up?" He questioned.
"Not much. You?" She asked.
"Not much." He said.
"Lydia! Wade!" They heard a South African accent say.
Turning around they were both face to face with Lydia's brother. Paul Lloyd JR. A.K.A Justin Gabriel.
"Lydia Fantasia Lloyd where have you been?!" He burst out.
"In my skin." She said.
"Don't smart mouth me!" He burst out.
"Sorry!" She burst out right back to him.
"I'll just be going." Wade said.
Turning on his heel Wade left. Both hearts dropped a little. They've been friends with each other since FCW. Lydia's brother always stops them from talking and getting to know each other more.
"Why don't you ever let me talk to Wade?" Lydia asked her Brother.
"Because I don't want you getting hurt" Her brother said.
"I'm not going to get hurt.. Whatever I got to go. I have a match." Lydia said.
She walked away and too the curtains and waited till "Welcome to the Family" by Avenged Sevenfold came on. Walking out she slapped a few fans hands as Natalya walked out with her championship. Getting to the ring. Before she knew it she had sweat trickling from my forehead and tears down my cheeks as the ref gave me the Diva's Championship and raised my hand. Smiling and crying happily she was celebrating on the top rope. Thanking all of my good fans. That was till she heard Wade Barrett's theme song play throughout the crowd. Looking over her shoulder she saw Wade Barrett coming down ramp with a microphone in hand.
"Lydia.." He started "I've loved you ever since FCW .." He continued, getting, in the ring. "I was scared you hated me.." He continued "But now. I have finally got the guts to ask you out.." He continued "Lydia .. Would you go out with me?" He finished.
Gasping and throwing a hand over her mouth she nodded and moved her hand only to mouth the words yes at him. Before she knew it his lips were crashing into her lips.. Pulling away she smiled at him.
Of course they had their ups and downs but they lasted. Two long years later he proposed to her.. They lived a long happy life.
