Syrus shall wait
A/N: My favourite reviewer syrusfanatic12 asked me to do a SyxDark Magician Girl pairing. This will be a two-shot. The first part being just after the duel with Blair, the secondpart on Duel Spirit Day when Syrus actually meets her. I have never done the pairing before, so don't hate me! A-nyway, I hope you enjoy.

Syrus shall wait
"Just remember who you're talking to. When we were growing up, Syrus claimed he was going steady with the Dark Magician Girl."
"Grr! Zane, how could you!" Syrus punched his mattress and collapsed on his back, sky blue eyes turned upwards to the bunk above him. Chumley and Jaden had gone out to eat, but Syrus didn't feel like it. After just coming back from the duel with Blair, Syrus was pretty darn annoyed at his brother. "You said we'd never mention it again!" Syrus wailed, burrowing his cute face into his pillows.
"Haha, what happened Sy? Why didn't it work out? Did you decide to see other monsters?"
"I did see her! We did talk! On those rare times we could, and my dreams! We did! We did! We did!" Syrus started to cry, but the pillow muffled his sobs thankfully. Some small words managed to come through the fabric though. "She-she said she'd come back! She promised! O-Only…" More sobs and sniffles came again and finally Syrus gave way to his despair.
The poor boy…still clinging onto the duel spirit he loved. Would he ever see her again?
Ok, a crappy opening, but the next one will be longer since otherwise I would've made it a one-shot. Will romance bloom, or shall despair take Syrus' beautiful duel spirit away, again?
