Hi! Minna-san! I decided to write a sad fanfic.
I will not try to copy others.

so I do hope I make this good.
I enjoy writing. It gives me satisfaction,

when someone loses a dear friend and how

NOTE: A 'One Shot' Story written back either in the
late 1990's or early 2000's. This is a sad story that
I found among my single shot stories and is sad. This
is not the way now I would have Usagi-Chan go if she
died. Anyway, I am posting this story 'AS IS'.

***** Departed In Life, United In Death. *****
It feels like yesterday when me and my best friend Usagi Tsukino, were at the park talking.
I had missed her so much. What would I do without my friend? That I didn't know. I was desperate!
I knew she had been my best friend, but what could have I done to prevent this? Nothing! My other
friend Makoto talked to me.
"Are you okay, Rei?"
Makoto asked.
"No."
I replied, "No. I am not okay. One of my best friends is gone and
now I will never see her again!"
There was suddenly a calm stillness between the two. Then Makoto asked a question.
"What happened Rei? What happened to Usagi?"
Makoto questioned her friend, but she knew what already happened. Makoto wanted me to
get my feelings out. I finally spoke up.
"It was one week ago today, Usagi went to the Crown Arcade as she always did.
She went to play the Sailor V videogame..."
Rei trailed off as a flashback occurred.
***** Flashback *****
Usagi went in to the Arcade.
"How are you Usagi?"
Motoki asked.
"I am fine."
Usagi gave her reply.
"That's Good."
Motoki said happily.
Usagi went to a videogame machine and put a coin in. It was not known how long
she was there, but soon after, a gang came into the arcade and decided to hold
the place hostage.
"This is a stick up! No one move or I will shoot!"
Ordered the gang leader. Everyone stopped dead in their tracks. The gang leader
called a local TV station that he had everyone in the arcade hostage. Tv crews
came quick and covered it. The gang leader spoke.
"I want 10 Million Yen! And I want it delivered it to me in one hour! To show
that I care about these people here, I will have my men select and kill one
person. Men, select and kill a person!"
Rei and the others were watching on TV. They saw that Usagi was there. They
became worried. They all cried when they saw what happened next.
The gang members selected the beautiful girl, Usagi Tsukino to kill.
I and the others saw the gang members shoot Usagi! Usagi died instantly!
We were horrified! Soon the police stormed into the place. Everyone
else was freed. Motoki talked to one of the policemen.
"If you please, I will take care of the dead body of that girl, she was a good friend."
Motoki requested of the Policeman.
"Sure."
The policeman answered.
He took the body and had it prepared for burial. We were there when they presented the body.
Everyone cried. They lost a friend. Never will Sailor Moon protect Tokyo again!

"That's good Rei, It helps to talk about what happened."
Makoto said to me,
"After the death of Usagi, Mamoru killed himself too, knowing he cannot live without his Princess."
"I know they are forever happy now."
I replied to Makoto.
Indeed, Usagi and Mamoru departed in life and united in death.
They will forever watch over us.
