Time Travel with disturbances

Not quite knowing what to think of the message in her hand, the black haired girl turned the paper around. „Nothing.", the black haired female thought. „If what Becci wrote is true, we're gonna be in big trouble. I better call Mayu.", the girl thought and put the piece of paper back on her writing desk. Right beside the message was the favorite card of the one who had sent the letter. „Horus the Black Flame Dragon", the favorite card of her friend Rebecca Shinsetsu – Becci for short. While searching for her PDA, the black haired girl known as Celine Mizuno opened several drawers of her writing desk, looked underneath her bed, again on her writing desk and even opened her wardrobe to check it for the missing item.

Much to her annoyance though, it was nowhere to be found. „Great.", Celine thought, scratching her neck „Hey guys, has anyone seen my PDA?", she asked her Duel Spirits but both, Fox Fire and Decoy Dragon shook their heads. The nineteen year old girl cursed and continued her search, but this time, she extended her search to the other rooms of her flat.

Kitchen, living room, heck, she even looked in her bathroom, but the lost PDA was nowhere to be found. „DAMN!", the blackhaired duelist cursed, being seemingly annoyed that she had misplaced her PDA so that she now wasn't able to found him. Sighing, she hunched her shoulders. It hasn't even been a month since she started living alone and yet she already lost things. Especially important ones like her PDA. „How am I suppossed to contact Mayu now? I haven't heard from her since the last time we've met in the tournament. That was almost half a year ago. So I can't even send Fox Fire or Decoy Dragon to her.". Celine sighed and returned to her bedroom. Moping wouldn't help her either, so maybe doing something else would help? Nodding to herself, Celine began re-reading the message Becci had sent her.

„Dear Cel,

I know it has been quite some time since my last letter arrived and I apologize for that. But in the past few months, Judai and I had been to so many different places and dimensions, it's unbelieveable! I wish you and Mayu could see them, too! You guys would love to see all those things and dimensions. Maybe next time, you can joins us? I'd love to spent some time with the two of you!

Unfortunately, though, I am afraid that we won't be able to come and visit you guys. Judai thinks he found something odd and we're about to investigate it. Yubel also said that something wasn't right but she couldn't name it either. However, she did state that it could be dangerous to investigate and warned us to be cautios. Guess it really must be dangerous if even she said so.

I'm writing you because I am not sure what exactly we'll find during our investigation but in case that something goes wrong, I'm sending Horus with this letter. I wish I could give you more details but just in case this letter gets in the wrong hands, I won't. Instead, I asked _ to bring you to our current location. So five days from the time you read this letter, I ask you to inform Mayu and Johan, and maybe O'Brian as well. I'm sure you guys will know what to do, should the worst case happen.

I just hope that this letter will reach you.

Greetings, Becci"

Sighing, Cel laid the letter down and turned towards the Duel Spirit of her friend. „I guess you don't know where Mayu is, do you?". Unfortunately for the blackhaired girl, Horus shook his head, too. „Great.", the nineteen years old girl sulked. „Just great."

With a quiet „Poff!", Cel threw herself backwards on her bed and folded her arms behind her head. She was just about to grind her head over where she had left her PDA when the front door opened and her mother's voice announced the latters arrival.

With a lot of momentum, the female duelist stood up and went to the hallway to help her mother. Although the blackhaired girl had managed three not-so-normal-school years at the Duel Academia, she still had no clue how to wash her clothes. Last time she had tried, she had shrinked half of her clothes, leading to her mother suggesting that she would help her daughter until she knew how to do it without ruining more of her clothes. Not necessary to emphasize, but Celine had to contend with this incident several time from Manjoume, who had found the situation very funny and had mocked her even weeks later for it. And that's just because he was able to wash his own clothes, in opposite to her (although he was careful to not tell the blackhaired girl that he as well had shrunk at least one set of his clothes at first).

„Hey mom.", Celine greeted her mother. „Thanks again for helping me." She smiled dryly at her mother, who in return just waved her hand. „Oh no problem. I'm just glad you still need my help. Honestly you became independent so fast after attending the Duel Academia, it's unbelievable." The older woman looked at her daughter wistfully, as if she would miss the times when her second eldest child was still dependent on her.

„Oh! That reminds me – You'd forgotten this yesterday evening at home. I know you need it for work, that's why I brought it with me."

Celine couldn't believe her eyes. In her mother hands were -

„My PDA! Oh mom, you have no idea how I am in need of it right now!" Happy to have her PDA (and with that her only hope of contacting Mayu, since she also had no clue where the heck Johan was) back, Cel hugged her mother closely.

„THANKS! Thousand thanks, mom!".

The female Duelist took her PDA and put it into her jacket pocket. „Now I finally call Mayu and the others and ask them to come.", she thought.

Once she had brought her laundry in her closet, Cel had talked a little bit with her mother while drinking a cup of coffee. Now, half an hour later, she sat on her bed, typing a message to Mayu, O'Brian and Manjoume.

Explaining to everyone what she had read in Becci's letter and had added the question if everyone had time to come over to her. While the blackhaired girl knew that O'Brian at least was in town (due to them both working for Pegasus and the latter being planning a new tournament in which she was supposed to not just participate but also to work in), she wasn't sure if Mayu, Johan and Manjoume had the time to come. Although Cel did believed to have heard that Johan would as well participate in the tournament, she truly wasn't sure whether or not her information about that were true.

„PING!"

That was Cel's PDA. The sound meant, that the first person had answered her message. Not very surprisingly, it was O'Brian who responed first. As always, his answer was short and precise.

„Cel,

I am currently in Domino City. As you know, the tournament begins in short and I am ordered by Mr. Pegasus to make the security measures are correct.

I have some free time next Tuesday. Meet me at the new I2 - Duel Arena.

O'Brian"

Cel wrote him that she would wait for him at the said place at 14:30 PM and laid her PDA beside her on her night stand.
