I have a secret that no one knows well only Fang but no one else. But I think that if I don't get this out I will here's my secret. I am abused yes I've said it you may think that not a big thing but it is and it hurt let me tell you. But I'm done chatting but I warn you if you think it has a happy ending think again.
I run up the stairs and in to my small room to avoid my dad well I don't run I tip toe since he's knocked out but I don't want to take a chance. My names Maximum Ride and this is how I live my life I hide to survive but does it work no it never works .I put on a baggy black shirt and a pair of skinny jeans with my black convers. I pick up my backpack and put my iPod in my pocket and fly out the door I find out Fangs clack pickup is sitting there waiting for me already. I slide in to his car and tell him go; we both sit in silence and look out at the city. "So how bad was it this time. Fang asked. "Nothing this time he was drunk when I got home." I said. We were both quiet till we got too school and then we dashed for the music room my favorite subject of the day me and Fang were a ban called Sea Of Glass. Cool right? The teacher Mrs. Lacy told us we were first and I sang Concrete Angle By Martina McBride and fang played the garter.

When we had finished the whole room went silent .Clapping came out of the blue and filled my ears this was the only time I felt like a normal kid Its sad right. As we started to leave I was pulled back by none other than Dylan the typical high school jock. He pushed me into a wall my wings hit the light socket hard I slightly flinched. A cruel evil smile appeared on his face my gut twisted as a warning to me but I was stuck nowhere left to run.
