MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCES AND KILLINGS
Many bodies found with no trace of DNA
Over the past week, several citizens have been reported missing, killed, and...alive?
Eyewitnesses swore they saw people being killed at the scene, then walking upright and healthy the next day.
Yet no one sees the person/thing that's doing the killing.
Are we experiancing the walking dead?
Many say that, right before the kill, they hear disturbing sounds-like "a cat being strangled". Other's say it's more of a high pitched choking sound.
Many also believe that we have the "walking dead" among us. If so they were dead, why aren't they "eating our brains" and "climbing out of graves"?
And if they were dead, why are they beautiful and strong? Why are we suddenly attracted to them?
Who knows the reason above all of this confusion? And how can we identify the victims? Morely...
THE KILLERS?
Seventeen year-old Nat Wolff was stunned silent when he read this in the newspaper. The article stood out easily, though it was in black and white. But the words were in bold. They sounded convincing. Newspapers aren't like tabloids. The story would've been even crazier if it was in the tabloids...
Absentmindly, he took the newspaper wherever he went, reading it over and over and over again. His thoughts of deja vu began to haunt him.
This better not be what I think it is...He thought to himself as he walked into the recording studio. It can't...
"Nat?"
Nat tore his eyes away from the newspaper and saw Alex, Rosalina, and Christina standing there. Alex, who's now fifteen, was as tall as the two girls. He was the one who spoke.
"What's up?" Nat asked. He winced when his voice shook.
"You okay?" Alex asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine."
"What's that in your hand?" Rosalina asked this time.
"Nothing." He hid the newspaper behind his back.
"It looks like a newspaper..." Christina eyed him suspiciously.
"It is a newspaper." Alex snatched it from Nat's hands. "Lemme see this..."
"Alex, no! Don't read that!" Nat tried to take it.
But it was too late. Alex was already reading it. His eyes went wide as he read it.
"What does it say, Alex?" asked Christina.
"Is it bad?" asked Rosalina.
"This is really bad..." Alex murmured.
"What's bad?" David, Thomas, and Quassim demanded as they walked up to them.
"Does alien clones ring a bell?" Alex handed them the newspaper.
"Again, Alex?" Said Thomas.
"They're just doing that for publicity." David added.
"You'd say that, wouldn't you?" Alex snapped. "You'd ONLY say that because YOU'RE an alien clone! Guys-check him for a codename!"
"Alex..." Said Rosalina, patting him on the back reassuringly. "Just hold on a sec..."
"This is probably a trick like last time." Said Quassim.
"Explain the pictures then!" Alex yelled.
"Alex is right..." Nat muttered. "These pictures look real. AND someone said the killer 'made sounds' before they killed."
"What're you talking about?" Christina asked, confused.
"Tell her, Nat." Alex moaned, sitting down, burying his face in his hands. "Tell her about the alien clones."
