There was once a land where a pack of Neopets lived. This pack had pets of every species and weren't discriminatory in the least! Everyone lived together in peace and harmony. Until one day, a rogue pet, of a species they'd never seen before, came down to this pack. He asked the alphas of this huge pack how they stayed together. The alphas replied that they all were good friends and that was how they stayed together even when things got tough. This leader was a Lupe. This strange pet left and for a time, everyone forgot about him. One day, a Uni and a Peophin were playing around together alone and this pet returned. He asked them which was better. They said they were equal. He asked which was prettier, and the Uni said she was. The Peophin quickly stopped her and corrected her that she was more beautiful. Soon the two were fighting and in their dispute, the mystery pet vanished. The two were still yelling at each other when they got back to the rest of the pack. The Lupe alpha asked why they were arguing and the Uni just said that she was prettier. The Peophins naturally agreed with the little Peophin and the Unis agreed with the Uni. Soon, the two sides had started a war. The Lupes and other pets didn't want to get involved and just wanted this fight broken up. In the end, all packs of pets separated into packs of species and divided up the old territory. Some pets made allies with other species, the Lupes and Gelerts and the Eyries and Kyriis. Many species just decided to skip the whole thing and be at peace with all the other packs and they were usually the ones to brake up fights, like the Zafaras, Wockies, Kougras, Ixis and Cybunnies. But there were those packs that still fought, including the Acaras and Aishas, Eyries and Lupes, and most importantly, Peophins and Unis. This was the way it was for generations and no pets were alive that still remembered the days where all pets lived together equally. And the Peophins and Unis would fight forever, so there was no way it could go back to the way it was…
