Although you may not think of it, I hate the cold. I, Russia, truly despise the cold. I love to feel the warmth of the sun on my skin, seeing the bright sunflowers always make me smile. But no. I had to be the country with no warmth. Maybe that has to do with why all the other nations are afraid of me. Because I seem cold. Yea, that must be it...
"Oh, It's time for the world meeting already?" I asked as I walked into the big room. "Privyet" I said smiling. Why is nobody saying 'hello' to me? I sigh deeply as I sit next to China and Austria. "Privyet" I said to both of the nations beside me. Why are they just starring at me?
"Ah..ni hao, Russia." China said that rather quickly and started fidgeting with his hands.
"Hello, Russia" Said Austria, finally, "I can see that you're in a good mood today."
"Da, I am." I nod, "You see, my sister, Ukraine, made breakfast today, and it really filled me up." I smile, "and also because I can't wait to see everyone begging for their lives if they do not like my ideas." my smile slowly turned into a smirk. Austria quickly nodded and turned away to talk to Hungary. Was I..too scary or something? No, it can't be. I wasn't being scary at all. It's so warm in here...it's nice. "Privyet, Italy!" I yell across the room to the Italian coming in.
"Ci..ciao, Mr. Russia!" He was stuttering and then ran off to the chair next to Germany. I simply sighed.
The meeting was over and I stood up. I could see China leaving. I ran up to him and hugged him from behind. "Da svedaniya, China!" I say with a huge smile on my face. He's so..warm.
"Aiyaa!" he shouts, "let go of me, aru!" I could feel him struggling, trying to break loose.
"Sorry.." I solemnly, almost, whisper. I let go of him and slowly walk away. Everybody treats me like this! Well..except for Belarus, but I don't want to go near her. What is this? It must be Belarus hugging me. No, it's not. It's...
"China?" He was hugging me like I was hugging him before. Except, of course, he's shorter, so his arms are around my waist.
"Sorry, Russia.." I heard him almost mumble, "I was really mean and rude, aru. I was just in a panic since you took me by surprise."
"Oh.." is all I manage to say. I can feel his oh so warm pulse. He lets go of me, bows, and leaves the room with Taiwan and Hong Kong. He was...nice to me..
"I'm home!" I yelled as I entered my empty home. Who was I talking to? I've lived alone for years since the whole Soviet Union left. I sighed and layed on the couch. I shiver slightly. "So cold in here." I pull a blanket over me. "This was the best day I've ever had." I smiled to myself, ignoring the snow outside, and the wind that krept in like a ghost. I fell asleep, dreaming of a whole, endless field of sunflowers...and the very exact warmth I felt from China.
I absolutely hate the cold...but I've managed to also love it for some reason. Yes...SOMEreason.
