This is my very first Twilight fanfic!! I'm sooo happy. I've been delaying on it for so long it's not even funny. This is a little one-shot I made of AliceXJasper, you gotta love em!! Anyway enough of me and on with the story!!

It was a cold winter's night and Alice was sitting alone in her room. With the lights turned off, blinds closed, and door locked. She was sitting on her bed curled up into a little ball, tearlessly, sobbing. Downstairs Jasper had a feeling deep inside him that his angel was crying. He rushed up the stairs and knocked on the door.

"Go away!" Alice cried from the darkness.

"Alice….It's me Jasper."

"I don't care just LEAVE!"

Jasper was appalled by her words and was about to walk away when he heard her desperately screaming, "I can't take it anymore! I can't live my life……… what am I saying I have no life. I'm dammed to the fiery depths of Hades for what I know!" He could hear her sobbing uncontrollably and it was hurting him so much right now. She wasn't supposed to be crying like this. 'Where is my sweet, little, ball of joy I knew and would gladly die again, for?' He thought. He couldn't take it anymore he stepped back and rammed into the door and found Alice staring at him, with a face of a doe in headlights. He walked over to her and tried to touch her, "NO! Let go of me, Jasper!! Quit it!!" He blocked out her hurtful words and just held her in his arms. She slowly calmed herself and just sat there, helplessly, staring at her hands.

He began to rub her slowly up and down the small of her back and placed his large hands into her toddler like hands.

"I had a vision about it -she cringed at the word- again." Alice said quietly.

"Same as before?" He murmured in her ear. She hesitated before she spoke,

"Y…yes." She said so low he had to bend down lower to hear her.

"Alice listen. He is not going to come for you. Not over my already dead body." He said with a little anger at the end.

"I know but…." Jasper cut her off.

"He………Is…….Gone. He is never coming back. He said sternly.

Alice looked up at him and said,



"I'm so lucky to have you in my life." Jasper gently brushed her cheek with the back of his hand.

"What would I do if I never had you in mine?"

Alice chuckled lightly and kissed Jasper tenderly on the check, and reached up to his ear and said,

"I've been waiting, you know." She recited the first thing she said to him. He smiled as he thought of the glorious day.

"I'm sorry ma'am."

And they sat there for what seemed like eternity.
