The worst night in the history of them all. . . The night I lost my brother and best friend.

Imagine this. You have a twin, you guys do everything together, he/she is you best friend, your brother/sister. The only person that doesn't ever judge you, and the only person you can trust. Because you two are exactly the same. And in the final battle against Voldemort, he is killed.

Killed by an explosion caused by a man pretendin to be the Minister of Magic, but was really a Death Eater.

Are you imagining it? Well this exact thing happened to me. I lost my brother. . . Fred Weasley. And all those things I listed up there, were what he was to me.

My name is George Weasley. And I feel the need to share some thoughts about Fred with you.

Fred and I were inseparable, we were practically the same person. In truth the only real difference between us was our name. We loved the same things; tormenting the same people, having the same friends, and just about anything else. We didn't know how it was possible, all we knew was that we enjoyed it.

One thing that we were most proud of, was our accomplishment of opening our own store. Weasleys Wizarding Wheezes. It was a successful joke shop. Actually one of the most successful there was. We got the start up money from Harry Potter, which he won from the Tri Wizard tournament. It was our dream come true. And now that Fred is gone, I have to run the shop, but luckily my other brother Ron has agreed to help me. Whenever I walk into the shop, there is a small shadow of longing for my brother.

Loosing someone that close to you isn't easy.

Our love for laughter was something that always kept us strong. Even in the midst of the war, Fred, Lee Jordan and I tried keeping some spirit alive within people. We did this by hosting a news program called Potterwatch. It was a hard task, trying not to be identified, or caught. But it was worth it.

All I have left to say now is that. I know Fred would be proud of what we accomplished, and what I am still able to accomplish while feeling the loneliness with him gone.

Lastly, I want to say is. . . Fred Weasley, I miss you brother. Its like part of my soul was taken with you. I hope to see you eventually.
