Shikamaru, You Liar

Shika/Ino Oneshot (Romance/Humor)

Summary: Ino has always wondered why Shikamaru spends hours looking at the sky, so, one day she asks. "Because it's the same color as your eyes…" ShikaIno!
Okie... Yeah, this is pointless and unBETAed so... yeah.

Ino and Shikamaru had spent the whole day together. Most of it was spent shopping –Much to Shikamaru's expected dislike- but after a nice dinner, they were now watching the clouds pass by and the Sun begin to set.

It had been quite for quite some time, making Ino slightly antsy, -Not that she couldn't not talk- she preferred to try and keep a conversation going with her lazy boyfriend. He really was someone to talk to once you had interested him.

Glancing at the sky warily, she continued to watch the clouds glide slowly overhead. She just couldn't understand why he wanted to watch those stupid clouds more than talking or training with her.

"Why do you like watching these clouds so much?" She asked suddenly. Shikamaru glanced at her sideways for a moment, before turning back to the sky with a slightly thoughtful and calculating glance. She waited and waited for what felt like hours. What kind of answers would come from the shirker ninja? After a couple more seconds, she became annoyed. "Well?"

"At the moment, because the clouds aren't being loud or troublesome," he stated. Ino sat in shock before leaping to her feet in unrepressed anger.

"Why you little…!" She yelled holding her fist in the air.

"Quiet down. I wasn't serious," he stated before thinking again. Ino continued to glare, but this time, she only crossed her arms in wait. "Maybe because on a nice day, they're the color of your eyes," Ino -for the second time that day- stood in shock before sitting down next to the boy.

"Shikamaru…" she started before lying down in his arms. "You Liar…"
