Masses of people went about their routines paying no attention to the rose haired girl followed closely by two nin-dogs. If they did they took no notice of the girl's eyes searching frantically toward each face as if searching for someone that was dear to her heart.
"Well?" asked Sakura.
"The scent's still pretty faint. But we are getting close to the source" replied the nin-dog.
The girl looked on ahead, excitement and dread built up in her veins. After the failed attempt at Orochimaru's base to bring back Sasuke, the remaining Team 7 only began to worry more about Orochimaru's body transfer.
That had all changed with the news of Sasuke defeating Orochimaru, they had that he would have come back to them. But he didn't, he had formed a team. It broke their hearts. It broke her heart.
With Kakashi's nin-dogs they managed to find a trace of his scent, she couldn't believe it. When she found him, she would pound and break his bones and bring him back to Naruto and her.
Sakura watched apprehensively ahead, it took so much will to put one foot before the other. She was close, she could almost touch him.
"Its close" barred the dog-nin.
'Sasuke I will bring you back!'
She didn't know what made her do it put she moved her eyes to her left. A girl about her age no less, with a shade of dark pink hair and glasses brushed past her. Something just by looking at the girl who almost matched Sakura's obscure hair color made her yearn to follow her. Maybe she was just imagining it but it felt like the world had shattered for a second.
The girl was almost out of her site when the dog-nin growled," Wait…the scent is moving away now." Sakura's brows furrowed down in worry.
'We're losing him. Where the hell are you Sasuke?"
She looked back again at the dark pink haired girl. Why they hell did she keep looking back at the girl in the first place?!
