Entry 1:

Dear Diary,
Today I was helping Lady Capulet prepare for the party in the Capulet house. She told me to call Juliet to her, I was bewildered when I heard that Lady Capulet was suggesting to Juliet to marry a man named Paris. She said he would be at the party tonight. I was quite upset about Juliet having to grow up so quickly but I wasn't going to disobey the family I am obliged to work for. At the party everything went well, Juliet met Paris and they seemed to like each other. But, near the end of the party I spied Juliet looking at, then kissing Romeo Montague, the Capulet family enemy. Later she had disappeared. I heard her stating her love to Romeo. How she would rather die than be without him.

Entry 2:

Dear Diary,
This morning Juliet sent me to deliver a message to Romeo Montague. Apparently they had made arrangements last night. I passed on Juliet's message but I also told him not to hurt or trick her in any way because she is young. He told me to send Juliet to Friar Lawrence to marry him this afternoon. I told him that Juliet is supposed to marry a man named Paris, but he didn't care, knowing his love for Juliet was stronger than hers for Paris. When I arrived back home I teased Juliet for a while about Romeo, but finally she got too impatient so I told her about his plan to marry her. She smiled with delight! The rest of the day went by in a blur, I attended the wedding and they both looked very happy.

Entry 3:

Dear Diary,
Today I brought Juliet some terrible news. I had to tell her that her husband, Romeo, had killed her cousin, Tybalt! When I told Juliet Romeo was going to be banished she looked absolutely devastated. Juliet got very angry at Romeo, then she felt sad for her cousin and husband. She is such a mess! I know her well enough to know the only one person who can comfort her is Romeo. I went to find him, I had my suspicions that he was in Friar Lawrence's cell. I was right. I gave him the ring Juliet gave me and told him to meet Juliet.

Entry 4:

Dear Diary,
Early this morning I realized that Romeo was still in Juliet's chamber. I warned them that Juliet's mother was coming. Romeo and Juliet quickly said their last goodbyes. Later Lord Capulet delivered the news that Juliet was to marry Paris tomorrow. She refused so he said the most horrible things to her! I know the only way Juliet would ever be happy again was if she married Paris and moved on in her life. I thought that she would take my advice, but she reacted as if I betrayed her. I knew she loved Romeo but I was obliged to encourage what Lord Capulet stated. Juliet went to confess to Friar Lawrence and came back looking very happy. I assumed she had moved on.

Entry 5:

Dear Diary,
Today was the worst day! Lady Capulet sent me to wake Juliet. I went to Juliet's chambers but Juliet would not wake! I was so upset, she could not be dead. I am ashamed of how she died angry with me, I would never forgive myself for obeying Lord Capulet's orders. I guess I was trying to honor the family by showing my obligation, but it wasn't worth it as Juliet died unhappy with me. Instead of a wedding that afternoon, we had a funeral. It was such a sad turn of events. After the Funeral I heard that Romeo had returned and killed himself in Juliet's tomb. Juliet seemed to have faked her previous death and shot herself in the head. I guess true love can't ever be broken.
