Izaya stared out the large window, grinning at the city below. The lights outside were brighter than usual, twinkling red, green, gold and that strange silver-white that only certain types of lights can give off. The people, usually scowling or looking rather indifferent to their surroundings, now wore wide, cheerful, teeth-bearing smiles, their arms most likely straining from the copious amounts of shopping bags they carried. Even a group of musically inclined humans were singing odes to the season, their song about a quiet evening (or something to that effect) somewhat muffeled through the glass.

Yes, it was the holiday season. It was only December 6th, over two weeks before Christmas, but Ikebukuro was over-flowing with holiday cheer. Izaya loved it. After all, Christmas was a time when humans let their defenses down the most. Downed defenses equaled a beautiful time for trolling.

Just as Izaya was about to call his best friend Shizu-chan to wish him a merry Christmas and a slightly OK new year, Izaya heard three short, quick knocks on his door. Surprised and curious, Izaya went to the door and opened it.

That was when he was shell shocked by a very nice looking man.

He had short light brown hair and beautiful brown eyes, which glinted slightly. He was dressed very smartly in a white button up shirt and black jeans. He griped in his hand an old fashioned movie camera, ebony and sleek. The boy gave a cheerful smile.

"Hello! My name is Tatara Totsuka. I'm visiting here for the day and I've heard a lot about you by this kid...Kida, I think his name was? Anyway, you're Orihara, right? Izaya Orihara?"

Izaya, having gained his composure, gave him a sly smile.

"That is I, Mr. Totsuka. Or is it Mister? Ah, regardless. Come on in."

Izaya ushered the attractive boy into the room. The two sat opposite each other. Totsuka fiddled with his camera and brought it up to his face.

"So, Orihara, is it true what they say about you being the kind of guy you shouldn't piss off, under any circumstances."

That question got the ball rolling. For half an hour, Totsuka peppered Izaya with questions, Izaya always giving cryptic answers. The camera stayed rolling throughout the interview. Afterwards, the two got up and stretched.

"You're a interesting man, Mr. Orihara. That concludes today's 'Tatara's Interview With A Stranger'. Thanks for cooperating. I'll-"

Totsuka was suddenly cut off by a quick but sound kiss, courtesy of Izaya. Izaya broke it and gave Totsuka a smug half-smile.

"Thank you, Mister Totsuka, for gracing me with your attractivness."

Totsuka blushed and sputtered, "W-why did you do that?"

Izaya shrugged.

"Think of it this way, Totsuka: We do what we feel on impulse. I wanted to kiss you, so I did."

Izaya's eyes glittered dangerously.

"After all, Tatara, you could very well die tomorrow."

AN: Yeah, this is very different from what I usually write, ain't it? This was a little Christmas present for my friend, Emmy, who loves both Izaya and Totsuka. She even ships them. Yeah, she's quite odd.

I do not own K or Durarara!

IZSUKA FOREVER.
