She was standing in the driveway debating wether or not she was going in. "Stuff it, it's my birthday and I want to celebrate it with my twin brother". She walked up the driveway and entered the house.
Walking up to the kitchen door she heard her mother's voice "but Sandy I just want her to come home I want to tell her that we love her and want her to have a great birthday" her mother sounded so upset but that was her....... Kirsten Cohen always annoyed about something. "Taryn?" she jumped it was her twin brother Seth "Uh I was just leaving" she managed to mumble "Taryn oh my god" "Sandy come here Taryn is home". Great Taryn thought how am I going to get out of this one? "Uh hi Mom, Dad I'm just here to say happy birthday to Seth and then I'm going". "No you are not" the tone of her mothers voice made Taryn jump "you are staying for this party and after it we are goin to sit down and talk this through" well that was her mother for you.
Taryn walked up the stairs, ignoring the looks she was getting she walked into her room locked the door and got into the shower. She thought about why she came back and why today of all days. After the shower she felt refreshed and more prepared to go out there. Taryn went to her wardrobe and tried to decide what to wear she finally decided on her black pinstripe pants and a low cut silky pink top her mother bought for her last year in New York on one of her business trips.
Taryn looked in the mirror, She looked good but couldn't help but worry about what Marissa and Summer would say about her "you know what? I don't care what they say I'll give them something to talk about" she said straightening her hair. Putting eyeliner on she walked down the stairs, She was nervous there was alot more guests there now.
