Bah, RikuSora. I was feeling nostalgic, and wanted to write something optimistic without being silly.
Characters aren't mine, obviously, and belong to Square Enix.

It's a cold and rainy day, and the two of them decide to make cookies.
… against Riku's pristine nature, he lets Sora commandeer the project. Small whirlwinds of sugar and baking soda follow the boy amiably in his wake; the counter is another story. They manage to make it work, slowly and surely. (And Riku stirs in the chips.)
Sora pretends to lead: Riku cleans up his messes quietly. It's their unspoken way of going about things now. But sometimes Sora is too naïve, and too gentle-hearted, and Riku has to work things back into their proper shape.
Eventually the dough finds its way into the oven, and the two are left to clean bowls and counter and floor. Dishrag in hand, Sora turns (blue eyes, drown in them) to his friend.
"Don't you think it's strange, how something so right can be done so easily?"
Riku wonders, too.
Enough to lean in close and kiss his brow, and wipe a snub of flour off his nose.
And who knows, maybe they'll do things right for once, and they're get their fairy-tale ending. They'll make that work, too: and they won't need to break any eggs.
But the cookies burn.
