Disclaimer: I don't own House of Anubis and its characters.
The poem wasn't for her.
Maybe deep, deep, down inside, Joy knew that, but she was too blinded by the fact that maybe just maybe she'd have a chance with Fabian. He was her best friend first, after all. It wasn't fair!
So she ignored Nina's jealous looks and death glares, she ignored Patricia's scoffs, she ignored everyone's obvious rooting for 'Fabina' (except for maybe Jerome, but he's Jerome, his opinion didn't really matter) and she ignored Fabian's obvious crush on Nina.
All because she had some hope (false, perhaps?) that he'd choose her instead.
But in the end, no matter what Joy did or how hard she tried, it was Nina who stole Fabian's heart, not her.
A/N: Oh, Joy angst.
Thanks for reading, reviews are lovely, so please review! :)
