I am Iniss 8377. My squadron is searching. Searching for the Hork Bajir who
have been destroying our outposts, and killing our pilots. They have been
aided by some Andalite bandits, they must be stopped.
My host's mind is trying to gain control, it knows it won't win, it knows it's species can't win, but it still fights, hoping it can be free again.
"Inisssss" . The Taxxon said, pointing to the screen on which there were 3 Hork Bajir. They must be eliminated.
(No.)
My hosts mind argues.
(Why must they die? Take me instead.)
(No. You are useful.)
I reply.
"Kill them"
I said to the Taxxon. I watched as the 3 blades on legs ran. I watched as they were hit. And I watched when the died.
My hosts mind tried to shudder, without avail, and I felt it's pain, and it's sorrow.
It thought of being free, it thought of its time on earth, and it's possible futures, and then knowing it had no future worth living it tried to kill itself.
I let it try, knowing I had control over it's primitive brain, and when it failed, I knew I had broken it, like on Earth a trainer breaks a horse.
I had control.
