Disclaimer: I do not own the wonderful series that is Harry Potter. I am not making money off of this. Everything belongs to J.K. Rowling and Warner Bros.

Author's Notes: I watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the umpteenth time a couple of days ago, and Sirius' death set me bawling. I know I wrote a poem back in December to honor him, but I feel like I need to write another one to get these feelings off my chest. So, here's to you, Sirius, my beloved.

What You Do To Me

By Sarah

3/12/08

Alone and lost is how I feel,

You have put me through a great ordeal.

Bellatrix sent you through the Veil,

I close my eyes and begin to wail.

You were so vibrant and happy,

I hope this does not make me sound sappy.

I have been mourning you since December,

I see your picture and remember.

Harry loved you very much,

And depended on you like a crutch.

I cannot bear for us to be apart,

Oh, Sirius, you held my heart.

Watching you die was hard for me,

And something I did not want to see.

Oh, Sirius, did you not see…

What you do to me?

I no longer see eyes of blue,

I long to see that lovely hue.

But though you are gone, I will not crack,

Because I love you, Sirius Black!
